Hi all. I'm a fairly new player. My highest character is level 32. Please don't take this as a "complaint" thread. The game is "free" and provides a great amount of entertainment for that price.
But in the little time that I've played, I've come across numerous problems, and not much in the way of help.
Once, I had two copies of the same companion out at the same time. That was awesome. It lasted a few hours. I logged a bug report and got no response.
I've currently got a quest in Neverdeath that can't complete. Lots of people say they've filed a bug report. So have I. No response yet regarding that.
I've currently got two active companions that somehow went back to my bags and can't go back to being companions. No idea why. Same story - no response yet.
I realize this isn't WoW. I'm not paying $15 per month. They can't afford 800 numbers and stuff like that. I get it. But at the same time, my kids want me to give them the $15 a month that we're saving in WoW money as Zen now that we're in Neverwinter. I'm not sure I want to do that given what I've seen so far.
Am I an outlier? Just unlucky? Or is this normal? I love the game, and really want to give it a shot.
personally: best f2p mmo you will ever get. but it has some small bugs, and I never heard of some you mentioned, and I heard not to ogod things about PWE customer service but they do respond it takes a while. This is an amazing game, and i think you might have just got unlucky. Enjoy it.
It's a f2p game, all f2p games tend to have way more bugs than sub games as they don't have the steady income from subs to afford to delay content releases till they're ready.

Unless they need more info from you, they will never contact you about a bug report. It is filed so that QA and the devs can deal with it.
If you need a response about a problem, then send in a support ticket not a bug report. And don't expect a quick turn around from them.

. . . Bug Reports are rarely responded to. These bypass Support and go straight to the Developers. If you need in-game or Support Assistance, you should either file a GM Help Ticket in-game or a support ticket on the Support Site.
. . . The rare occasion that the Devs will respond to a Bug Report is if they require more information from you and this will come in the form of a Support Ticket response. When this happens, your Bug Report will appear in your Ticket History with a Support Reply to it. Otherwise, Bug Reports will not appear in your Ticket history.

. . . Hmm, I may need more details. How many active companion slots do you have? Are they all filled? You can have at most, 5 active companions and only one summoned one out of those 5. Also, you have a limit to the number of Idle Companions you can have in your inventory. Open your inventory and make sure you have room. You can buy more idle slots through the Zen Market.
. . . However, don't buy any active companion slots as you'll gain your max of 5 as you level to 60. The ability to buy them is just there for those who want those slots early.
All right, this got left open for a bit hoping for constructive responses but all it's attracted is flames at the company, so, after having removed said flames, I'm going to close it down.
