Beware of Enchantment "Borrowers"

Everyone,

We had a recent event in our guild where a player, perhaps a couple weeks into our guild, asked multiple people to "borrow" their high end Enchantments to see if they work. Both fortunately and unfortunately, only one person (whom he strongly friended and built up some level of trust), let him borrow his Perfect Vorpal and Perfect Soulforge. Afterward he left the guild and put him on ignore.

Please be mindful. Enchantments are very easy to remove now because of gold. We're going to be putting out a MOTD in EoA to make players aware of these tactics types of people.

Best, Trace

I'm pretty sure you don't need telling but report the guy , if you can give support a rough idea of date and time the original conversation took place where the thief asked to borrow the enchantments and promised to give them back then maybe support can check out the chat logs and maybe even retrieve the stolen items , even if they can't help there's no harm in trying.

Ahahah, naive scrub. I am sure the game support will look through the logs and ban him very soon. It's not hard to do this as far as I know at least...

So he only lost a trust...

    Yeah sure... borrow mine.

Copy your char to test shard and there you go.

    On live?

    No thanks :)

We need a maintained list, from a trusty person, with such offenders though. It's a shame it will need to be on a different website.

Very simple but good advice - should be stickied...

Why would anyone give expensive items to someone they've only known, online of all places, for a few weeks?

. . .This is sound advice however due to our policy on not allowing the forums be a place to report bad behavior or guild drama, we must close this thread. I'm placing this in the Moonstone Mask though, so it won't be so easily forgotten amiss the busy nature of the General forum.
