Add Refinement Point Stones to PVP Glory Vendor

I would love to see peridots, white pearls, etc added to the PVP glory vendor. Even if the cost was really high this would give people a reason to farm glory after getting their T1 set and artifact, and add progression via pvp.

I understand you can purchase the T1 items and salvage which is better than nothing, but that's not progression. This would be a simple fix to get more people into pvp.

Sounds like a good use of extra glory.

On a related note, adding them to seal vendors would also be nice (I seem to recall a thread a few weeks ago mentioning this). At least the drake one as that is the one people are likely to have extras of.

I would like a reason to get glory as well. I finally ground out the artifact on my CW and now I'm not really motivated to PvP much other than to do something different/kill people until I get smashed myself heh. The Glory gear is pretty awful, I have no interest in trying to earn it. Other than the sword companion I don't see why I'd want to get Glory.

Actually, if added to seal vendors, I'd like to see a range of items available. Maybe 1 pearl for X Lion Seals, 3 pearls for Manticores, 1 peridot for Pegasus, and then add aquamarines for Unicorn and Drake seals, also in lots of 1 and then 3. I left 3 peridots out of the progression because it's the same RP as 1 aquamarine.

Then the refinement points you get for each option fall into 100, 300, 500, 1500, and 4500, which doesn't quite bump this into the territory of the sapphire you can buy from the WB.

I agree with all of this. Seals being the priority. I'd like to see artifacts that can be purchased from the seal vendors as well. Our options seem limited at this time. Aside from the one freebie and the PVP vendor artifact, the rest are quiet difficult to come by. I'd really like to see some more common ones, even if they aren't as good as what is currently out there.

Adding them to the seal vendor as well is a great idea, but we still need a permanent reason for glory. As it it once I got my pvp set and artifact I only do the daily, and the new weekly from lord neverember, and many days I dont even do the daily anymore and just do the weekly when it pops for 8k+4k daily RAD.

    Like this idea also.

The comment above though, what do you mean by a permanent reason for glory? Eventually you just pvp to pvp. And the permanent thing is the RAD.

Not a good idea. Sooner or later, you would see bots playing alongside you just to farm glory for those RP stuffs.

They'd be character-bound like everything else for seals/glory, so while the theoretical bot could be used to farm glory for what would surely be piddly-arsed amounts of refining points like more wondrous peridots, the bot would also be stuck using those items to refine something and then upgrade it to then sell up. Which, frankly, sounds like a buttload of trouble when you could have your bots all just farming peridots from skill nodes to outright sell, like they already do.

Pretty sure we have bots now...wouldn't be that big of a deal.

This is actually an ingenius idea!! Two thumbs up to the op.

Enchantments are among one of the most expensive items in the current economy, often massively bloated in AD price, and yet people still need make up their minds to grudgingly open their wallets, or farm AD for weeks and months to acquire a high-grade enchantment.

What this suggestion can do, has so many merits that I can't begin to describe:

    Refining Enchantments become easier
= more proliferation of higher grade enchantments
= the average player spec in PvP is slowly, but surely levelled out much better than it used to be
= more people coming into PvP to farm glory to get refinement stones
= more people coming into PvP since they now have access to rank7+ enchantments a lot sooner
    = thriving PvP community
    = PROFIT! For PvP enthusiasts

The accursed "1% chance" is still plenty enough to make people open up their wallets to by coalescent wards. Hasn't PW/Cryptic made enough money? :) Even if the proft dips a bit because now more people are actively trying to refine their enchantments, still, the overall increase in the people (now wanting to enchant stuff) will offset the profit loss a bit by increased coalescent ward sales.

    It's a win-win scenario for everyone!!

Just implement a few specific measures to firmly stop rigged matches and bots to stop people from exploiting PvP to farm stones... and also make the refinement stones bind on pickup. Also, something like brilliant diamond should be priced fairly high, maybe 50,000 glory for 1 stone..

Anyhow, I can't see how this suggestion would fail. Again, it's a win-win for everyone.

You should send this to the suggestion boards, or e-mail the developers! :D

This has already been accomplished since you can use the artifact as refinement points.

Well, you can by raven skull from glory vendor, fully refine it and then feed it to another artifact/enchantment which is good too :)
