Daily Solo Dungeon Suggestion

With the new module Shadowmantle we have 3 great solo dungeons we can run regularly. These can be done solo or as a group which is also great, it is a mmo after all:) however they only take about 5 minutes in a group. So I suggest creating the next set of daily dungeons scaleable in difficulty. The more players in group the mobs get slightly tougher. I'm not talking epic but at least make it so the dungeon lasts 15 minutes as if you were to solo it.

To keep the incentive of group play, have the percent of quality loot drop be effected as well for each extra player in group, or raise the precent of rare loot being in the gauntlet chests.

Thanks :) I'm eagerly awaiting the module 3 teaser, keep up the great work!

Disagree, this would make grouping the only option for them. Right now yeah grouping might be a hair faster if you don't factor in forming a group and waiting for everyone to get there.

Your changes would actually slow me down and make my loot worse? That is not a positive change in any way, mean, or form.

how would making dungeons scalable based on party size make grouping the only option?

Maybe he was talking about this bit?

He's advocating better rewards for more people.

Im Ok leaving loot as is, i just think it is silly taking a full group of players into a solo dungeon. There is no challange in it, it takes longer to fill the group then to do the zone.

Unless they crank the difficulty up to epic levels for them, this will always be the case even solo, but if they did crank it up then new players would be locked out of them.

Just zerg to the slow down points where doors are locked and aoe things down, repeat, and blow thru the dungeon as fast as you can.

I agree with charononus on this. If you know you get better loot in a group, why would you ever do it alone?

    A couple quick thoughts:

Personally, I would be against any change that gives greater rewards for using a group for solo content. Yes this is an MMO, but not everything in the game needs to be a group activity. One of the most attractive things about Neverwinter, IMHO, is that there are a number of solo activities to entertain yourself with when you aren't in a group.

However, I would love to see a "Hard Mode" or something similar implemented, just don't restrict it to groups. I'm amazed that people ever group up for solo dungeons, to be honest, as my only complaint with them is that they don't really present much of a challenge.
