ice racing in the new winter event

With both of my chars i started the ice racing at the new Winter event..exactly at the same spot they crashed..after a verify one of my chars ,the hunter, i couldnt log in anymore..when i try the game crash!! Now i had the same with my other char , the cleric, and i cant log in anymore with her also...soo any sollutions

    Already reported and the staff are looking into it (its actually right here on the front page still). Sorry to hear about that though!

    same here. I crashed my first char on the ice race. now I crashed my second char. Every time I log in, the game crashes now on both chars. On my second char, I tried the other parts of the winter festival with no problem. But once I tried the ice racing, it crashed. Never completed the race with either char. So not going to try ice racing with my other char until this bug is fixed.

    The crash point for me is after completing the first set of gates. Not sure where I was after that since I have yet to complete the course.

    yeah got this happening to me too.

    Also got a character I couldnt log into at all in Dread Ring.

    same here main character is stuck in the race and insta crash if i try to log into it

    And yet another one here who CTD's if I try to log in with the alt that was in the ice race.Please try to fix this ASAP.:(

    Patch Notes, says there is a (possible) fix coming later today ... Sincerely hope it helps those affected ...
    Is it finally a T5/U/T6 KDF Science Ship?

    Try this to see if it fixes it for you.

    Someone who had this issue earlier mentioned here(http://techsupport.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=40971) that they found a workaround for having their characters crash on login after the initial crash. Basically you access each character by logging in using safe mode and moving them out of the race instance. It will still crash at the same spot if you enter that location when you are not playing in safe mode, but at least you can regain access to your characters so you can do other stuff while they're working on the fix for it.
