Why 5 RP stones per click?

So i need to put 5 RP stones (shards/enchants/whatever) at a time when i'm refining my enchants.

To make a perfect, i need massive amount of RP stones (shards/enchants/whatever) to refine everything, and it is kind of a pain in the rear when i keep clicking all that amount because i can add only 5 at a time.

Why not just make 1 slot and make us put 99x stacks in there and refine them all with one click?

I don't get it...

Because the system is designed around growing your stuff slowly, not to cater to everyone who is gleefully rubbing their hands together about making their R10s and perfects today (or yesterday).

I made two perfects in 40 minutes, so i don't get your logic at all.

The system was made ( according to Dev's blog) to make enchanting easier and simpler. How is it simpler that i need to click 10x the amount of clicks i used to do?

How is making us being able to make our enchants within 10 minutes instead of 40 minutes impacting the enchantment progression and economy?

If you have the materials, you would upgrade your enchant no matter how much time/clicks it would take. So why make it take longer to upgrade enchants that i already have the materials for?

I'm just saying that it's not going to seem like such a PITA to someone who isn't trying to do this all at once. Not that it's wrong to do so.

I feel your pain! I have 1000's of enchants from rank 1 to 5 + 1000's of shards and spent 3 hours last night and still not done. :(

That's how I feel, I'm a pretty new player and I haven't banked up a bunch of enchants so being able to use what I find in whatever combinations I want is so much nicer.

Eh? the reason is that you can mix the enchants you want to use up, just not use one, they all give different ammounts of points, thats why you got so many slots to choose from.

Yeah. I am levelling one of each enchant type to 7, so I Can start upping my slotted enchants to r8. I just feed like-colored stones in as I get them, do the same with runes (Ioun Stone runes get priority), and any non-matching or 'bonus' stones (pearls etc) go to my weapon enchant (after it levels, they'll go to the armor enchant). I have maybe 8 enchants / runes that are sitting in my bag on a 'permanent' basis. The rest are just feeders.

Hence, 5 slots is just fine for me to use.

How about having 5 slots while being able to stack 20x in each slot?

I'm just annoyed by being forced to only put 5 enchants per click. Kind of painful when you are trying to refine 1000++ enchants/shards/whatever

luxury problems... there are more important things to fix than making it easier for 1% of the players to refine enchants in shorter time. not every one sits on 1000 enchants and 1000 shards so live with it.
