Astral Diamond gain.

With the removal of being able to sell Epic items in the market, I've been wondering if there's any way to grind for Astral Diamonds without a limit, like the current Rough Astral Diamonds. I was initially put to the idea that the Salvager would allow this, but he only trades rough Astral Diamonds.

I'm asking because I'm thinking of making a return to the game once the new update goes live with Rangers, but I'm not exactly going to do it if the team is going to keep nerfing the ability to gain diamonds/convert to zen just to stack their coffers, when I've already got Marvel Heroes, which allows me to grind all day for Eternity Splinters if I so wish (contrast: I've spent $17 on this game, 7 of that on an IGN subscription, I have spent $150 on Marvel Heroes because of general kindness of the company, and awesomeness of the devs).

Figured it's worth a shot to ask, as so many things about this game have pushed me away that have been issues since Day 1 (IE, game starting in desktop resolution even in Fullscreen), but the Ranger is actually quite fun, and the collection system (while flawed by including exclusives AND cash shop items) has peaked my interest in trying to get all armor sets. Thanks for any info ya'll can give me.

You could try out foundry missions, especially the ones labelled as farm/grind etc. and grind for gems aswell as, piercing berserker belts. (eventually, even though these are quite rare drops > dragon eggs)

    Have fun.

It's only your end chest during DD where you get bound epic items. If you're inclined to farm dungeon boss drops all day every day, then you're not even confined to a timed event. Greed roll with everyone else for loot to sell, or get into a guild that runs dungeons and splits the proceeds from collectively selling all drops.

Thanks for the clarification, folks. Seems like you go from gear grinding to gem/rune grinding. Doesn't seem too tedious, but we'll see.
