Servers down or am I banned?

I tried to get on yesterday but I got that "unable to authenticate" HAMSTER for a few hours. I come back this morning before work and try (8 hours later), same thing now. Am I banned or are the servers just getting DDoSed into the ground? (wouldn't surprise me)

I assume the latter is the case, perhaps a message on the forums notifying us of "network problems" would suffice for informing us.

. . . . Neither. If you were banned, you would have received a message stating such. The servers are fine, try rebooting your PC, Router(s), and Modem. Check the stickies in the Bug Forum for more tips and information. If you're still having issues, please contact Support. Thanks!
