Gateway Preview won't open all chars

Using the Gateway Preview at https://gatewaytest.playneverwinter.com/ shows characters on Mimic and Xorn shards. I can open the character on Mimic, but I get an error when I try to open the character on Xorn. The error box contains:

You have Encountered an Error
Character Not Found

The character you are trying to view was not found.
Click here to go to Character Select

The character creation process did not ask on which shard to create the character. I wanted the new character to be on the same shard as the previous one.

I wasn't aware there was a Xorn shard. As far as I know there's Live (Dragon), Shadowmantle Preview (Mimic) and Live Preview (Owlbear), no Xorn.

Based on this and the issues reported below with new characters on "Xorn" not receiving pack items, it sounds like something is not communicating.
