Yea true, mostly because there is many "kick after last boss" guilds out there and since game developers don't wanna do anything to that, least they could do this thing atleast.
Though I doubt it very much, or it comes in June 2014.
I do not know many players who use the endgame queue system for anything other than skirmishes and PvP.
By contrast, everyone, even sub-60s, use the Ignore system.
So, I would much rather they tweak the Ignore system to add at least a simple sortable Note column (like the Friends list). Preferably with an automatic Note like "SPAM" if you use "Report Spam" to place someone on the Ignore list.
That makes it easy to add a note like "_ninja" or "_cheater" or "_rude". I assuming here that with sorting, starting with a letter like "_" would show at the top.

At this point, months since beta, I estimate I have 1080 entries in my Ignore list. Most of them are Spam, including very few player spammers, but some of them are true baddies too. It would be nice to know why someone is on my ignore list...

Vote system is on preview right now , it will be released with shadowmantle in a few weeks.

I agree on the numbers who have piled up - I can no longer tell who is who, but I do know there's a fair share of malicious people among, a circumstance which has kept me from doing a "general amnesty cleaning".
Personally, I queue quite a bit, either because there's just some minutes of Delves left when I come home from work (better to get some T1 gear for an alt than to miss Delves altogether) or to meet new people. But getting partied with someone yesterday whom I had just /ignored the day before for good reasons was definitely strange.

Ditto.
Got partied with a "Last boss kicker" group on Saturday that I had put on /ignore a few days prior and just about lost it. We had trashed the first group of mobs before I realized it, told the other 2 in group about them and left.
If you cannot talk to them because they are on /ignore, why even allow it to party with them? This is a team game that requires team play, so it is rather counter productive to let the queue system match people on ignore.

It's not mutually exclusive to put notes on ignore entries and to forbid the queue from grouping players with people on their ignore list, and it might be easy enough to do both of them that we could get both in a single update without having to wait forever. I'd like to see both, personally.
I can see people who are relatively bad at PvP just ignoring people who are just way better then them. This is a horrible idea, because it then becomes a game rather then what it is - an ignore button.
I've matched multiple times with the same person, and I've had those people that I've won against every time, and decided they'd like to talk nonsense to me. I'd hate for them to have an advantage of blocking ME, so they don't have to get beat and then that makes ME possibly have a longer queue?
Yes I agree with this. That way if Im in arena, and some just simply quits because they are losing. I dont have to be matched with them anymore.
Or someone you KNOW is a ninja looter. Or a group of people that goes into a dungeon, and then kicks any other party members as soon as the boss is about to die.
Not being matched with people on ignore should be mandatory. Vote kicking will only solve one problem, but also create another.
And matchmaking taking ignore lists into account can help alleviate the alot of it in addition to vote kicking.
In general these will promote favorable player behavior.
Well, maybe it should be an option under chat settings -- "Exclude ignore list from grouping with you via queue? (Note: This may extend wait times while in queue)." I dunno, I've ignored exactly two non-gold-spammers, and they're both foul enough people that I wouldn't want to spend time waiting in queue just to end up in a party with one of them only to kick myself out and have to wait in queue all over again. It's not likely to happen in my case since my non-spammer list is so short, but the more people you have ignored, the more likely you are to be in a situation like that.

I thought the suggestion was that someone you block couldn't be teamed with you in a dungeon or your own side in PvP.
The ignore list should also prevent people from inviting you to party. I have one ****** spam me with party invites whenever we were both on...even though he was ignored. I suppose the about 15 times I reported him for this it finally had an effect though.

The problem with not queueing with people on your ignore list is; Who is gonna get left out when the system has enough people to form a group? The guy who got ignored or the guy that has the first guy on ignore?
I am sure most people would say that the guy on someones ignorelist should be left out, but this is so easily abused that I cannot see how to make this a fair system.
Just because one person has someone else on his ignorelist, dosnt necesarily mean other players desire the same.
If this system was to be implemented it should ALWAYS be the one with the /ignore list that should be left out. Not the player being ignored.

This is something that I think is needed. Or maybe a /block command for people we don't ever want to group with.
Ignoring Gold Sellers, Zone Trolls, and players who don't use LFG is what mostly fills up my ignore list. I clear that out though, once a month or so. People can change. Would love a second option because some people I don't -ever- want to associate with. Scammers, Kickers, or people just to vulgar for a regular ignore. Or as you posted. A way to label them. Then when I clear out my list I can make sure I don't remove them.

would be nice a click the name "/nogroup", then not a chance to see that person in instances, pvp, or just the peson inviting you to be a HAMSTER

While that is slightly better, someone who's good at PvPing will start ignoring people who are far worse. It's a bad idea to let players control who's on their team in any way. Sad part about these threads is no one reads through them. Read the first post > Respond with something 100 people already said seems to be the method.
i SO want this! i don't ignore people lightly (except spammers) so if someone is on my ignore list, i don't want to have them around me at all! Worse, these idiots can spam party invites at you and you have NO way to stop it except to log out. Had that happen to me a couple of days ago. So annoying!

Have it where once you select to Do Not Party to a player, a window pops up that gives you an option to also ignore them if you want.
May seem redundant but still gives the option to chat/talk with them if you want for whatever reason; be it friendly or trash talking.
