How to get Rank 3 person Uncommon in professions?

Hi all,
I'm trying to get the Uncommon Rank 3 Person in some profession, but I can only get the Common ones. Like in Artificing, "Assistant Artificer" instead of "Articifer". So do they come only from some Booster Package? Or is there a way to get them through the profession?

There's a small chance of getting them instead of a "teir 3" white one. You also get a free profession pack from a quest in the neverdeath Graveyard, that quest made my CW pay for her own rank 8 enchants. :P

Buy them in the AH or buy profession packs from the zen market. There is the only way.

I didn't realize you could even get them as a proc from crafting the normal ones.
I probably have crafted hundreds of the rank 1 crafters from various professions & upgraded them to Rank 3, but never noticed a green proc out of it. (might just not have noticed)
Chances of getting what you want out of a profession box is so low it isn't worth it imo (random profession asset).
Sadly best bet is probably to buy them on the AH.

I'm pretty sure you cannot get an uncommon proc from crafting a Rank 3 common Person. The whole point of having a Rank 3 Common is too allow players access to all craft without having to pay for Uncommon through Epic Persons. Your best bet is definitely the AH or Profession pack if you have the cash.

Devs have confirmed that it can happen, and we know it happens in practice because players who it's happened to have posted about it on these forums, mostly to ask if it was a bug. But it is intentional. That said, the probability of it happening is surely so low as to be practically nil, so it's a pleasant surprise rather than something to bank on.

If you really want faster dudes, you need to look at buying them, particularly when there is an active promotion involving profession packs and people are selling off the assets they don't want. But they are not needed because as the above poster pointed out, the rank 3 common people can do every task.
