Foundry: Editing Drider Costume = Crash to Desktop

Is this a repeatable bug? If so, you should add it to the Bug Reports forum, and let me know and I will add it to my list of Foundry bugs.

I was doing a lot that day, but this is what made me crash...
I set a drider as a costume to edit, as soon as I do anything with it the system crashes... gave up after 3 attempts. I guess they don’t want it to be changed because it's a spider body with a humanoid torso

They had mentioned that driders were actually rather tricky to create during one of the interviews so this might be some limitation with the drider model as a whole. In fact I am rather surprised you could select edit it to begin with as the whispers I have heard is that driders were stuck in a small number of presets.


*shugs* Zeb has mentioned a few times how limited the driders are in his opinion. I personally have never touched them in the Foundry.

That makes sense, I just wanted to use one as a Druid npc. The 2 male versions are too gruff for what I wanted, but the female would be perfect if I could change her shirt, head thingy, and her hair a little bit

. . . . . You cannot alter anything on the driders anyway, so until they update them in the foundry, I'd stay away from editing their costumes. The driders need some love, and now apparently some fixing also. Moving to Bug Reports.

I reported this back in June, both in game and via the website. I am sure it is low priority, if it is being tracked at all.

LOL. Nope. Limited selection to upper torso, but nothing actually changes. Just doesn't crash.
