I realize that now that summer feast is over with and things have calmed down somewhat. What will we see for our upcoming Halloween for next month? I realize this is little early but hey the people i have been talking to are curious about what Neverwinter would have in store for us all. New mounts, companions, Halloween hats, tricks or treats.what could be lurking in the distant future. A glimpse would be nice. Share your ideas and thoughts so that at least it can be voiced early..

YOu do mean you look forward to halloween in mid or late nov not October. As we just had MID summer fest about the beginning of fall.

Darn you Val you made me coat my monitor in pepsi! The last part really had me rolling!

On to answering the post - I'd like to see all the things above, (although Eskimos are way too scary for some of our PG crowd.), and I'd add the trick or treat thing they used to have in CoH.

Mid or late November yes. But all in all we should have some imput as to what would be fun to see in the game. Since it is the first year with halloween being implemented in the game.

Here is what I would like to see:

Hovering broom mount (yeah, I know we are never going to get real flying mounts, but just something that hovers a meter feet above the ground would be neat.

Black dye (as a drop,...yeah, I know I can buy them, and I did, for my Sunite garb, but still.)

Black version of the cat companion (for sale....too much to ask for that as a random drop). Glowing eyes would be a nice touch.

A proper, pointy hat for a witch.

Levitating, carved pumpkin lantern that follows you around (maybe as a semi-useless companion)
    Hoping for improvements...

I'm hoping for a smaller event. Something akin to the launch event in size. Then next year they can blow it all out and expand it to a Summer Festival sized event.

I'd like to see companion skins. It'd be nice for something other than an army of clone clerics to be following 90% of the player base.
    Religion - 60 GF (15.3k GS)
    The Seeker - 60 DC (11.5k GS)
    Faithless - 60 CW (10k GS)

They can try to do what their other game, Champions Online, did for Halloween events. They gave out clickies that let you turn into mummies, vampires and banshees. These are not just cosmetic changes. They have special attacks and abilities eg vampires turning into smoke/bats and moving faster. They are not likely to be practical in an epic dungeon but they'll be lots of fun for pvp and solo quests.

When this weirdity was mentioned last week...I check the makeup house.....nothing new there or even today.

*Scrounges thru the closet* "What to wear with such makeup features?!?"

I am wondering if it only shows up for tiefling characters, as the previous screens posted from someone who found this were also of a tiefling.

I tried to check it out and didn't see these options, but tiefling is a race I haven't used yet.

I am hoping for something that truly reflects All Hallows Eve, not the cutsie event that was the Summer Festival. While the Summer Festival was a diversion from the normal game, it had nothing for Rewards that I wanted. An All Hallows Eve event can be made to fit into D&D lore quite easily as long as they don't try to use the modern version called Halloween. Also All Hallows Eve cosmetic items can fit quite nicely into the Neverwinter setting. Vampires, Mummies, Skeletons, Zombies, Evil Spirits, Kelemvorite DoomGuides, the possibilities for spooky galore exists, but I will shun the event if they go cutsie.
