Greater Bag of Holding (bug?)

I already have one greater bag of holding, and I purchased another from the zen market and found that you have to replace one of the smaller ones. Are there only 5 bags max, or is this a bug?

If I had known that you had to replace an existing 12-slot bag with a 24-slot one (netting only 12 slots for 1000 zen!), then I would not have purchased it. Glad I didn't buy the smaller one.

There should be some warning about this Cryptic...

Very misleading.

. . . . . When you start the game with a new character, you only have your main backpack. The other bag slots show empty along the bottom of your inventory. As you gained new bags, you can see how they get placed in those slots. So, I'm not sure how you assumed there were more than four extra bag slots, when from the beginning it clearly shows there are only 4 extra bag slots. Never-the-less, I'd love to have a few more bag slots.

Eh....You have a point....sort of. Once all your bag slots are full it would be nice if buying a new bag would give you another bag slot. If all of your bag slots are full then things like the Feywild Starter Pack really lose a little of their value because the bag it comes with becomes totally useless. There is also no reason to buy anymore bags from the Zen store. It is something they may want to think about.

Well it's not misleading, but it would help to have more slots. I decided to get a 2nd one for my main so that he can hold more stuff (mostly because crafting required holding a lot of items for my 2nd bag). If I wanted to buy a pack for a bag for each character, he wouldn't be able to have it. We should also be able to reorder bags :D.

My suggestion when it comes to bags is don't buy them.

For less than the price of one bag, you can open your own guild, buy a bank slot that has 50 slots in it and just mail stuff to a character that has access to the bank.

    It's where I store all my runes/enchants
It's also a great piggy bank for gold. I didn't even notice I had 300 gold in my Gbank until yesterday.

Bags and bank slots are useful because endgame characters accumulate a lot of Bound items, of which there are even more since Feywild.

Guild banks cannot hold Bound items.
