Hourly events need reworking.

While I understand the point of the events, for PvE players, the dungeon and skirmish events need to be reworked.

The queue never pops for them up unless it is during the event. If I log in and see a foundry hour, followed by professions and then pvp, no point in even playing that night as no teams will be found.

We need the rewards for the two activities increased at all time, and then do something else for the event hour, maybe bonus xp.

I'd just like to be able to get a team more than a couple hours a week.

Edit: Just wanted to add that before the trolls tell me to find a guild, I have looked over and over in game for one but seems that no one wants a newbie these days, so the random queue is all I have for teaming.

Ok, how am I lazy? I beg for teams all the time, even trying to form them. No one wants to go unless the stupid event is up!

I'm Impatient? I sit in queue for hours at a time and get no pops. Guess I should wait for days, right?

You need to calm down, get over yourself. Where do people like YOU come from?

And no, I don't read the forums unless I need to report a bug. My mistake thinking I could come here and make a suggestion rationally. I guess this must have been or is a hot topic. Sorry for how I feel, but if you don't like it, ignore it!

I'm not saying get rid of the events at all, just give people a reason do dungeons and skirmishes when the event isn't up. I remember when people teamed up in MMOs just to have fun, but not anymore. Can't get anyone to do anything without a reward.

I'm not Mad with you man.

Que system: Once you have added yourself to the que, go and do something else don't just wait around for it.

Farming: You can collect gear and sell it for an excellent profit... as it costs you Nothing Right? Selling it for any price makes it a profit.

Do something for someone else: ASSIST lower level players, (I don't mean go kill everything for them) join their groups and help them get through the quest. (Without doing it all for them) give them any good loot you pick up or maybe some gold?

Try spamming LFG channel a little bit asking for members in protectors enclave. Or join a guild, yes some of them accept newbies. It isn't trolling to tell you so.

I don't understand why would dev change a whole event system just because you and only you can't get a team together. You are the problem, not the game.

I beg, literally beg, all the time for groups, and get nowhere. I've asked about guilds, but I'd rather get to know people and not just join a blind invite guild. then I get sick of begging and queue up and go quest, then eventually log without a pop. I'm not crying about it taking 30 minutes like some, I'm talking a 8 hour weekend session with no pops. Isn't that a little long?

I miss the old days in MMO, people would team up just to level. Never see that much anymore, leveling is all solo now.

MMOs don't work like they did back in the day. Can't get people to even think about teaming without them getting a huge reward, and that really sucks. And the event system just enforces this, to the point that rarely does anyone team without it being dungeon delve hour.

Just thought I'd suggest that. Guess it's been suggested to death. Anyway, I rerolled to a different server, maybe things will be better there. Sorry I caused problems, and sorry if I seem like a jerk. My game is all buggy at the moment and I'm just a little sick of people tonight.

I joined a guild when somebody invited me in PE and they turned out to be nice people, so you may give it a shot. And yes, I'm sorry to hear that you have such problems with finding group for dungeons, it is a big problem in-game for everyone currently. Don't listen to the trolls, and don't become upset because of them. Trolling is what they do to feel better about themselves.

You can't queue for high level content and join a group to help low level players; you get removed from your queue.

The situation might also be a bit worse now because so many accounts are banned. I'd hope it gets better by the end of the week assuming that at least some will come back to the game after their temporary absence.

I think it would actually be a solid option for the community if events ran concurrently, even if on a rotating basis. I recognize that this could be a challenge in terms of server population and people getting groups, but it could also lead to people feeling that they have more options with their groups. My guild runs delves and events even when they're not on the sidebar, but that's because we just like to play. :)

If you are offering yourself up as an escort for a dungeon you can't queue for, the party has to walk in the door. It works fine.
