Hello we all seen the video saying the game has 2 million players. Explain how that is possible on 3 shards and 6-9 instances average. Not saying explain how 2million people are playing at once. I am saying explain how there is 2 million players over all

Even better explain that population on say 12-14 instances.

Also would like to know how did you get that 2million number was it just from registered emails or from players that log in and play the game on regular basis. LIke the 2 million was it from game metrics or just the number of registered emails?

Since the devs are to busy to answer this in a timely manner. Could some smart forum brother and sisters tackle this. Since the devs have trouble with stuff like this.

Obviously 2 million people are not consistently logging in so it's probably registered emails...

You're just asking a rhetorical question so that when someone responds you can bash the game and/or devs some more. If you enjoy playing why don't you play? and if you don't enjoy playing why do you get on the forums and make posts like this? Just leave and do something you do enjoy.

Personally I enjoy NW, which is why after I get out of work in a little bit you won't see me posting on the forums again until monday.

They may have 2million players but there servers can handle only so much mainly its 2million accounts made.

F2P games always have inflated player #'s due to mass influx of players from BETA to Release. Then they die down after 3-6 months as majority of community reaches max level and gets bored from dungeon grinding.

The server population will then drop down to around several hundred thousand and sit there.

I think its a legit question, why bash him for wanting to know where the number comes from. Its most likely just the number of registered accounts and not based on active players in game at any given time. Cribstaxx seems like hes just a fanboy that has to defend cryptic anytime something is in question. If you enjoy the game and how its run more power to you, but dont sit there and bash someone that has legit issues just because you like the game/devs.

Come on it was obviously a leading question, no one actually believes there are 2 million players logging in every day, this thread was started for the sole purpose of bashing players, devs, and the game. I am just calling it what it is from the start. After this point that's what it's going to devolve into...

I do play the game i pray each day it will get better. I think by asking hard questions that the devs should answer make the game better.

I want the truth and yes I can handle the truth LOL

I didnt say they said there was 2million players logging in each day. I know that is not possible for this game servers to handle.

i'm not sure why this is important, but no where in cryptic/pwe's statement about their 2 mil player base did they say that all 2 million accounts are playing all at once. so i don't really understand the inquiry. people are playing this game around the globe in different time zones. some people log in, invoke their deity and do professions and log out. some people do their dailies. i mean, there is no set requirement for when and how i play just to prove to someone on a forum that the game company's player base statement is true and accurate.

plus, a company's internal information, data collection methods, etc is just that: internal. either you accept the information or you don't. but it would appear that skeptics are more likely to inquire about this as everyone else doesn't really care. if the number is true or it's been rounded up or estimated or how they came to that number would only matter if you were trying to bash the company for lying. by god, man. how can such a company that has infuriated you so with their focus on the cash shop and the bind on pickup change and the constant nerf to your TR actually be SUCCESSFUL?

    because it's a great game.

Not even 1 WoW server can host that much ppl, all of them yes, but 1 would crash in seconds, this game maybe has around 7k ppl online , but its just my guess.

This ... These forums are pretty toxic. Definitly not not provide an accurate reflection of the game. League of Legends, arguable one of the most popular games out right now, is even worse.
