I do not believe that anybody has stated at any point, that there is not a problem with bots.. Bots exist in every game out there, and if you wish to deny that fact, feel free to. However, do remember that Blizzard successfully sued MDY Industries LLC for upwards of six million dollars, after the whole "Glider" incident.
The only thing that the mod team, as well as the dev team will do, is state that we cannot comment upon, or discuss, ongoing investigations into bot activity, or the actions being taken to limit their effect.
During the first gulf war, the Iraqi scud missiles, were notoriously inaccurate. Until, that was, a US reporter in Israel, started reporting "live" as to the location of where the missiles were landing. This allowed the launchers, to make the necessary corrections in order to improve their accuracy. The same goes for fighting bots in games, if we talk about what we do to prevent them, we are telling the writers of the bots, how to circumvent those methods. So for the sake of a better game experience. We just don't talk about it. But the problem of bots IS recognised, and IS being addressed.
Oh, and yes, it is posted in the wrong section, and I'll move it just as soon as I've gotten a fresh pot of tea.
