That state of this game

I have been gone for a couple of months, hoping that issues would be sorted out and the economy would stabilize. What are your thoughts on this game now as compared to the first 2 weeks?

As a guardian fighter, I feel much more useful now in dungeons (Frozen Heart really springs to mind).
As for the economy, I think the mistake was letting too much (pretty much everything? >.>) be BoE. There had to be some BoP among the best stuff, partially this is getting fixed with Gauntl gear in next patch (currency gear becoming BoP), but I think it's still not enough.
But if I have to be honest, I really don't care about the economy of a game, I'm more interested in dungeons being fixed/tuned, new content being added, and the foundry being empowered.
Speaking of the foundry, that's probably the aspect of the game that disappointed me the most so far, I expected much more, I expected patches that tweaked level 60 foundries to make them worth doing and I expected much more flexibility in the tool itself, it feels too limited and after a while, if you skip reading the texts, all foundries look more and more like each other (while there are a few notable exceptions out there that feel unique, the vast majority, even among the high rated ones, don't, at least to me).

The economy gets worse by the day, CN weapons I sold for 1.5 million two weeks ago now go for 600K. I don't even run T2s anymore since nothing that drops there sells for anything worthwhile any more.

The game will not recover. Period. End of Story. They have no shot after October. They had their window of opportunity and they blew it on a cash grab and the cash shop. It's a P2W game published by PWE. Plain and Simple. The big games coming out will overcome what is left by November.

With every day that passes NW/CRYP/PW makes every change possible to force us players to buy zen. Stay away, unless you want to spend lots of your hard earned cash.

Wow, I guess I expected at least one good comment. This really makes me sad. This game had so much potential to be amazing.

The economy... The Zen to Astral Diamond market is a great indicator of Neverwinter economy health. Comparing to what it was the AD rate to Zen has come WAY DOWN thus AD is much more valuable then it was in the past, which lowers the cost of items on the AH, etc.

Never spent an € in this game. I have 4 character, two at 60. I'm a casual player. GF is full t2, enchanted, and so on. GWF is full pvp set but has been capped only 3 days ago. I had 5 respec, i can do all t2 dungeons, the only real problem is, as for all game, that you need a premade team for the hardest. I usually win in pvp, even when i lose i'm almost always on top of the chart. I enjoy it.
So, it's a big deal for me to understand all this complaining. Maybe it's a problem of management. A lot of people, that maybe it's not expert with mmorpg, or that never understand, spend a lot of money and sucks.
Well, mister, listen to me. Play Neverwinter, it's funny. Don't spend a single money. GG.

Spent some money on IoA Stone. Because you need one to be worthwhile. Boy was that a mistake. I'm just here until TESO because PWE has proven themselves to be RMT-loving, money-HAMSTER, down right dirty.

They have one shot and that is Feywild, but my god, if they nerf my class one more time to appease PVP "Whiners" I may not even make it.

I think this game has about 2-3 months worth of content to keep someone interested. People on my friends list and on my guild roster rotate like musical chairs as they hit 60, do epics for about a month, then they disappear from the game. I think that is the biggest flaw of the game. The leveling experience was really good. I was addicted to logging in from 1-60. Once I hit 60 I kinda just log in to see what is going on, maybe hit a dungeon delve, but that is about it. I have 5 level 60s, but I am out of character slots and have played every class to 60 so I am kind of running out of things to do. I leveled each class up different ways, via foundry, PVP, standard campaign line, dungeons/skirmishes etc. The game hasn't been out very long and even though it sounds like I pretty much have done everything this game has to offer, I did so by only playing 2-3 hours a day. The game is just that limited with content. After Fury of Feywild comes out, I truly hope they come out with something to continuously advance your character because the new content is gonna last maybe a week or two based off past experience. Its kinda like Dragon Age for the playstation. You cant stop for a while, then you beat the game. You play it again as a different class, then beat the game again. Then it sits on your shelf and collects dust and you wait for Dragon Age II to come out. Rinse, repeat.

90% of the forums consisting of negative comments has to have some implication about the state of the game, not even the worst games in the past has this much constant negativity on the forums.

Ask yourself this: Why was ZEN 260 at a point and now it is 341? Nobody is buying zen to sell to the F2P players. Why? Not very many people are as excited about this game as when it came out. Maybe it's because of the lack of content. Maybe it's because PWE has an awful past and has been neglecting and dare I say disrespecting their playerbase. Who knows. This game is doomed and PWE should make every single attempt at a cash grab. When they drop the price on mounts (again) then I will know they are truly desperate.

Dungeon Fighter Online was another game (actually a great game) where the forum was awash in negativity. That game is now dead (surprise!).

Indeed, when your game's forum is in a state of constant unrest you should take it as a sign that you're doing something wrong and change course immediately. At least, that's what a developer who either cares about their product or isn't chained down by their publisher would do.

?
What shard are you playing?
Because Mindflayer has a pretty high AD/Zen ratio (~340) at the moment.
Delve loot murdered my TR, DC, & GWF. Nerf Plox:
I know that it sucks to no longer get gear to sell from the Dungeon Delve chest but it was truly overpowered.

Yea sorry to say the game does suck right now. I am thinking of leaving also i did leave the game for month but not the forum. Really the forum is more fun then the game right now. People are quiting the game from just reading the latest patch notes for feywild. When feywild launches it will bring back some people but since this company doesnt test anything at all before launching new content the issues and bugs added to all the issues and bugs we got now will make those people that came back leave and i am going to say even more people with them.

And yes the forum are heave with the negative people for a reason they are pissed off with the current game model. That you must spend real money or your toon sucks. Its supposed to be free to play. There are so many reasons people are angry on the forum to many to list.

I cant wait maybe in year or so Wotc can get some other company to make a better D&D mmo game.

I strongly disagree. The AD price of Zen is primarily tied to current events and promotions. Right now, demand for Zen is up because people want to buy profession packs. It will slip again after Aug 1 when the Lillend promo ends, and rise the next time there's a Zen store sale or bonus items in packs or a double diamonds event (because people feel they can afford higher offers when getting double diamonds).

If you watch the rates, you'll see the pattern. New offers are posted constantly, and if you keep the exchange window open for a few minutes, you can see slightly cheaper offers being posted and quickly bought out, over and over again.
