Remove Daily from PvP and Fix Dungeons!

The only way to make A.Diamonds after level 40 is PvP. You are catering to the PvP crowd and not us PvE'ers. Not a single dungeon or skirmish works. I am forced to PvP to earn all my money and that is not an aspect of gaming I enjoy. YOU ARE GIVING PVE'ERS NO REASON TO STAY IN YOUR GAME. We are punished at every turn. If I want to foundry or dungeon or skirmish or quest I loose progress if I am in a queue to party with others. If I want to solo play I'll go back to my console!

I quit doing PvP even though I found I rather enjoyed it, because it was making the boys level too quickly to get to all the PvE content. They're in their 40s, and I've been playing since May. My GWF finished making his first million ADs this weekend. My TR is only about halfway there because he cashed out to buy a little bit of Zen last week, and has been levelling Alchemy instead of Leadership. (I also have a DC, but I have been careful not to overlevel her and her profession slots are mostly used for hiring dudes to mail to the guys, so she's not amassing a personal fortune like the others.)

I'm not getting any of this from dailies (well, not much - had been doing one skirmish "daily" per week or so, but I think I'm giving that up too and will just do each once for achievements). I don't have a small army of alts doing invoking and professions. It's all just careful planning of what tasks appear to be most worth doing at a given time and judicious buying and selling.

I admit that I'm missing out on dungeons at the moment, but figure I'll go back and pick them up later.

Mostly I end up questing for longer stretches of game time on weekends, and evenings I play the auction game for a few minutes or an hour. You don't have to be 60 or rich to begin, just patient and practical.

why you said that skirmishes and dungeons do not work?

also appart from fully geared GF at low lvs like 52 with epic gear other clases can fairly have balanced pvp in those levels (exept for bots) and well i did all skirmishes and dungeons in those levels and earned AD as well so not sure why they are not working, skirmished even take less time to earn Ad than pvp XD, not sure if they have removed the daily skirmish and dungeons quest, however i still see the daily for dread vault so what are you talking about here?

My vote goes to leave the PvP daily. Thanks! Then again take it out and I save a lot of time from doing it on 4 characters and I can find something to do outside the game.

But by all means fix that other stuff. They need to nerf some of the non-Epic dungeons to make people actually want to do them. And be able to complete them with the average pickup group.

You're plain wrong. Even some blue items from dungeons and skirmishes can sell much more than 4000 AD you get from pvp daily.

And the Wolf Den Boss is overpowered. No one is going to do a 45 min dungeon only to find out every time they get to the boss the party can't bring him down. No one is queing for skirmishes and dungeons past level 40.

So Pvp isnt your only option you just dont wish to put in the work to be able to down your other options. Its been shown time and time again that nothing good comes of players being racist towards other playstyles. A good mmo caters to all playstyles, all this would do is create a rift between players and hurt another group of players fun just because someone else doesnt like that style. Its never good to take an option away from a game.

Respectfully, the Wolf Den boss is hard but not overpowered if you use certain tactics to contain her and the adds. My GF has never had a problem getting into either skirmishes or dungeons at any level, although my TR has had some insane wait times.

Obviously (according to you) only PVPers are earning AD, so since you don't want to PVP and don't know other ways to get diamonds, lets punish people who do like to PVP through all levels.

Uhm so you want people to be forced to do PvE instead of PvP to earn AD because "you" cant find enough friends in the game to get in party with regularly ... but wait, you aren't only lazy to form a party from zone chat... you also are blaming cryptic for it.

Didn't really make sense to me either. The title and content seem to say 'PvE is broken, please break PvP too so they'll be on even footing.' Which would be bridging the gap in entirely the wrong way. When one kid is crying over a spilt icecream and the other is licking theirs happily, you don't snatch the happy kid's icecream, throw it on the floor, and say 'THERE, NOW YOU'RE EVEN!' Just get the crying kid another icecream. Sheesh.

Edit: Actually my example is inaccurate. The OP doesn't even want equality, they want total domination for the PvE crowd. It's more like snatching icecream from the happy kid and giving it to the crying kid, ending in the exact same predicament.

didn't know when i queu for the skirmishes at those leveles and also for dungeons i completed all well i use a GF so i think is not difficult to find space there, also we did kill them all pre patch so probably the nerf in TR damage and DC affected

This is the problem. Which is why I stated "average pickup group". I've done that dungeon about 10 times now in random groups and have never once completed it. I'd be curious to see the stats from Cryptic on number of times attempted vs number of times completed. There's no reason they can't tune the non-Epic version down a little and still leave it halfway challenging like they did for Mad Dragon.

Actually the dungeon is not that hard if your party knows what to do and have some skill. There's a few threads on how to do this dungeon on the forums, somebody has just to take responsibility to explain the group what everyone should do. Worked for me.
