I am probably missing something or doing something wrong. I am a DC and been running Mad Dragon too much and am broke. Between health pots, injury kits, and coal I have spent all of my money.
What is the best way to get gold other than questing. Can I buy any of my supplies with AD or is there a way to exchange AD for gold?
Thank you

Probably Leadership. You can earn a fair bit of coin that way.
Leadership is okay for this, and AD, but takes a lot of effort to get up to a high level. I have been logging in 3 times a day to do my leadership tasks every day since open beta started and my Leadership is only at 16. Someone in another thread said he had got his up to 18 and unless you work on it 24/7 this should give you an idea how long it will take to get to decent rewards.
If you don't mind spending real money, then keys -> Gold works too....

Then stop using the white rarity workers. Buy Man-at-Arms or Adventurers.
I ended up buying 4 Adventurers a bit back. It sped up my leveling by a large amount and are quickly paying themselves off with the double AD event.
Do a tier 3 mob farm foundry (example, ogres one at a time in a linear hall), collect gold and potions and junk items. Vendor them. A level 60 potion or green item is worth several silver each, and it adds up fast. As a side effect you should loot tons of healing potions saving that expense (don't vendor heal pots!) -- leaving you only to need to buy injury kits.
All those old seals you have cluttering up. Go to the seal vendor in town and buy stuff. Can be put on the AH for AD or sold to merchants for coin.
Still have all those left over items for the bounty hunters for each zone? Trade in 10 for a random unknown green. Not worth much unless you can ID it from some old scrolls but its still worth coin.
Have a good friend or two? Run some level 60 foundries. Get 4 of them done and you can turn in the foundry daily quest for AD. Main reason to run them is to pick up the level 60 ID scrolls. I've seen as few as 0 and as many as 5 drop per run. Usually I get around 2 per run but have been told I'm lucky.
I do Foundry quests to get items, which I sell for gold. The Scarlet Library is one of my favorite ones when I really need the coin, but every Foundry quest will do as long as it involves combat. And at the same time you can fulfill your daily as well if you so desire.
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"
"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*
One of the middle areas in the Chasm (I prefer the one before you port to the very bottom), easy to kill NPC. You fight level 52ish NPC and have a level advantage, get up to level 59 scrolls, get green gear that needs to be identified, and PROFIT! At 60, you do not need level 59 scrolls so you can quickly sell the gear straight to the vendor after IDing the item...also drops kits for area nodes which you can keep. Doesn't seem to make a ton of cash very fast, but its ok for the "open world" of NWO.
This can be a issue if you don't catch it early. All i have done are DD's; T2 i don't really like the foundry and i find arena pvp a little bit boring. All i do is vacum up the gold and greed on green drops in dungeon runs boosted by bound purples (1.6g per drop).
If you buy the greater scrolls of identification from the AD trader in PE (costs 2500 AD per 20 which is about what i use per day maybe a little more) and identify your green drops sell them to an npc; its 10 silver per drop. doing this i have bought 20 greater 1st aid kits per day (4g per 20) plus potions. I currently have 70g plus 80/90 kits and healing pots.
I'm not saying this is the answer there are plenty of solutions that have been posted ...just another one you could consider. hope that helps.
EDIT get a greater bag of holding (think thats what its called) this really helps when inventory space is an issue.

Not a bad idea if you only have a couple of characters, but for someone with several like me, it is not really viable.
Enchanted Keys for opening lockboxes. Cost 125 Zen each or 1,125 Zen for 10:

Usually sell for 26-30g on my server but yes this is the most direct route.
