Wrong, pve carebears have no clue about balance this is why they start raging so easily. Besides, pve is just a tool, to get better at pvp. Think about it.
Peace.
completely wrong. things done in PvP and PvE are different. beside, since when D&D game have PvP as main attraction?
Going to be funny when GWF and GF can 1 hit clerics and push them around like ragdolls, good job devs, kill the beloved healers that save our asses and heal us when we are about to die.

I wish clerics were like Medics in Team Fortress.
I want my invulnerable Ubercharge ability in Neverwinter ! Yarr.
Were people complaining about DC being OP before this?I'm still a little confused on why they are nerfing it...
made me laugh ... i can say that you are not cleric
Stack AS is op. and nothing else,
-Tab action => lame no worse than lame
-other heal skills => ridiculous heal or ****tard cds
-other skills => you are suppose to heal with HAMSTER skills so good luck to place other skills (not to mention if you heal alone you can't)
For the people blaming the current DC fir QQing, stop one second and use your brain, why people are QQing that much?
I'm in a clan, we are playing together for 6 years, 3 formers healers, we've been on Lineage, Aion, Tera, and some other unknow one, we always played the heal class and the neverwinter heal class is completly useless beside any other MMO, and i'm now the only one who plays it because they can't bear that stupid heal, and I understand why, his gameplay is HAMSTER, his skills are useless (WTF potions can heal more than we ever could with one skill, and with less CD ***** please ...)
Completly unbalance
The issue with AS is that we clerics have said over and over again yes its OP but the reason its used is because its the only VIABLE skill we have.
Period.
And that is what is wrong with it. What is needed is a list of effective abilities that we can choose from, not one single ability so effective that it is mandatory to exploit its bugged state.
But if we continue to use this broken ability as a crutch to support us, the other abilities won't get the love they need since the class as a whole will appear to be doing fine.
That is the point of the preview test server: to evaluate changes and make adjustments before they cause issues in a larger playerbase. If it looks like only the most skilled players can now handle the top content, hopefully there will be more general improvements so that the more average players are able to deal with it.
Action Healing, lol. Every major heal, HG and AS are both lay on ground then run around and do mediocre damage.
Thats part oif a conversion from 4th ed. Clerics aren't just nannybots: their abilities aid the rest of the party, but they also deal damage.
There would likely be a balance issue if they were actually dealing top damage as well as the healing/buffing/mitigation suport they provide.
Then you have people like you and nemesis so busy sucking off the PWE devs that you can't stop to realize that.
I'm not aware of anything that I've said that would have upset you to the extent where you would start to use language like that. I assure you, my intent was merely to discuss, not to hurt your feelings so badly.
I'm bright enough to understand why the devs would change a problematic ability, on a test server, in order to evaluate how to fix an issue. I do not believe that the current system should go live if it turns out that it makes playing a cleric too hard, but I can accept the need for evaluation of performance before making improvements.
Can't you?
The issue with clerics as it is now, is its a boring class to play, made worse by the lack of actual action healing, but at least AS worked relatively well.
Healing is different in NW, because it is different in 4th ed. Rather than force someone into the healing role (often a cause of balance issues), 4th ed makes healing much less centralised. (Healing surges in the PnP game, potions in NW.)
This translates to NW clerics not being the healbots that people complain about being forced to play in other games, but to have an active role in fights. The class is designed to provide buffs, mitigation, and general healing: it is the responsibility of the actual player do deal with spike damage through potions.
