The luck part is the fact it boosts your crit, and for crit to help you at all, you have to roll into your X%.

And not saying its a bad set, its a good pvp set. Just think valiant may be better, I dunno for sure, havent completed my timeless hero set yet to compare them both, but I destroy ppl FAST with valiant debuff.

is this the valiant that you're talking about

Valiant is better than timeless? No, not even close. That's like the people who flame that Ancient rings are not as good as Pyrotechnic.

25% chance to do what Arpen is already doing for you? Or upping your chance to crit for 75 or 85% damage. Then you have the fact that..timeless has the same exact stats as Valient across the board, but slightly higher. Let me just put it this way: It's not that hard to get 25% chance to crit with timeless stacking going on.

Pyrotechnic are better than Ancient for dps GF. Also 2 piece Knight Captain, Shadow Wolf helm, Icefall gauntlets > Timless for pvp

    Greywolf:
    VS
    Knight Captian:

    Greywolf has:
    164 more power,
    392 More crit

Knight Captian gets zero higher DPS stats.

Timless Hero Greaves vs Knight Captian

    Timeless has:
    171 more power,
    27 more recovery.

    Total:
    335 power
    392 Crit
    27 Recovery...

    VS 400 armor Pen.

    No, just no.

I don't think you understand how ArP works in this game. On top of that, for the purpose of PvP, recovery is useless.

I would use rares with Power/ArP but there are none on the AH atm.

Replace Knight Captain's with: Armor of Insanity (298 power, 298 crit, 298 ArP - forgot this existed) and Piercing Valiant Greaves +4 (225 power, 135 ArP - there's +5 too)

Now the total set gives: 973 power, 681 crit, 816 ArP (recovery is worthless in PvP)

    So your saying:
Piercing valiant greaves: 235 power 135 arp.
Armor of Insanity: 298 power, 298 crit, 298 ArP
    IceFall Gaunt: 225 pwr /158 crit / 158 arp
    Shadow Wolf Helm: 225 -arp/pwr/crit

    Total:
    ARP: 816
    Pwr: 983
    Crit: 681

    Compared to Timeless:
    Pwr: 1271
    Crit: 1350
    Arp: 0

The math adds up here actually. Losing 288 power and 669 crit for 816 arp. 288 power isnt a ton of difference, 669 crit is what roughly 5%? for 816 arp which will be quite a bit of armor pen...

I dont think this will compare to amax proceed stalwarts though... just from the pure damage output...Plus they are going to be buffing pwr effect for GFs from what I understand so Arp might not be > Pwr hands down...

Idk what you're talking about buffing power, but waiting to get 5x before using encounters isn't practical in pvp.
