I just seen a closed thread that said naming ninja's isn't allowed? Why can't others be warned of these type of players they deserve their names out there for the public eye to see and avoid.
Any other game allows a ninja page so why's this game any different? To me this is condoning this type of behavior.

Any other game?
I have played a lot of mmos and not a single one allowed naming and shaming
They also, as this one, don't allow discussing moderator action on the forums. If you want to appeal an action, use the Support link at the top of the page, and open a "Forums and Website" ticket.
Because they don't care if your items get ninja'd. Or who does it. However, would you like to buy a dye pack? Perhaps a new companion?

Because there is nothing to stop false accusations and such threads often devolve into trading personal attacks. We shouldn't condone that kind of behavior either.
Ok maybe not every game but that's not the point here
OK; let's just talk about PWE games then. None of them allow it; it's in the terms of service. I know this, because I moderate the forums for one of their other games. It's not allowed, because of what silvergryph said above; there's no way to prevent false accusations (not even screenshots would do so), and it leads to personal attacks. They're not going to change this policy; this is PWE's 30th-ish game, 12th-ish in North America, and they don't allow that in any of them.

This, in a nutshell. I mod three of their games, so I'll back him up with my own experience. I actually kept ONE such thread up, with names removed, as a case study in why naming and shaming isn't allowed.

I see your point. You can be certain I, or anyone at Cryptic does not condone ninja looting. However, our forums cannot be filled with accusations like these, its just not the place.
Replies in this tread hit upo many of the reasons naming and shaming cannot be allowed on a public game forum.

It would be really easy to produce false screenshots and label someone you dislike a ninja

Screenshots can be photoshopped. Point is, it's a form of harassment, and creates unnecessary forum drama.

Master looter. It's already in there.
Mob mentality is bad especially when lots of immature people are involved
As for the looting system - yea it sucks but i understand they're looking into it
Only if you PUG. Don't PUG if you care about loot distribution.
