PvP Points seem random?

I ranked second in points, did not die, and I was on the winning team. Yet I only received 107 points versus the 750 I get sometimes when I win and the 350 I sometimes get when I lose. This was my first match of the day. Also, it was a random que not a premade if these factors effect point outcome. How are points figured?
