Possible video memory leaks

I have noticed that in certain situations I experience substantial video lag to the point of playing a power point presentation. This only occurs during some wizard abilities being used. That's about as far as I have narrowed it down. I only experience this kind of lag with a wizard in the party. I know this is not my PC system as I FAR exceed the system requirements and the lag or packet loss still occurs even at the lowest possible settings. Just for reference my PC specs are

Intel core I7
12 GB corsair dominator DDR3 1600
1200 watt power supply
240 GB corsair force series III SSD RAID-0
Duel Nvidia 660 GTX graphics cards SLI
Asus Sabertooth X58 motherboard.

I've been experiencing this as a CW since yesterday. Prior to yesterday I've had 0 experience with lag/slow downs and I've been playing since before Open Beta. It's super odd too. Before a fight I'm fine - no sloggyness. Start a fight with NPCs (I've been in Icespire Peak) and the slow down hits big time. After the fight is over and assuming I manage to live through what is ridiculous video lag it GOES AWAY and returns to normal.

This is all so vague so I haven't posted anything yet. I've a bit of IT sperience so I was hoping to narrow it down some more before I reported it. This is a brand new PC, all nice **** that I built myself. And its had 0 issues (it has 0 issues with Bioshock Infinite at MAX) so far, this just started happening.

    Anyway, possibly related?

This occurs sometimes when I play too. It happened to my CW and GF, especially when fighting against Mimics in certain areas and on Icespire Peak in the windy and snowy zones like the one where I had to destroy some ice-columns and on the narrow path to the top. I have a Radeon HD 5750 and didn't notice any problems in all other zones and fights. I do not know what causes this fps drop.

I had this problem constantly, lower your quality and speed rendering bars, it may lok worse BUT its smooth and no lag eben with a screen full ofn enemies and lots of ambiant effects, post processing might also be the problem and for god sake turn off AA, it does nothing but use memory especially is you have a good Gfx card. This is how i solved it :)

Perhaps an SLI issue? try running the game on one card and see what happens.

I have an aging system with a HD 5770 and I run the game on max settings just fine.

I had this issue, I think it was the CW spell that does that tornado of ice but only when there was a few enemys. I found just unticking the advanced options in gfx settings fixed it but i'm not sure if that turned my settings down or not. Still says I'm running 4x AA ( Thats because my card is old, Not because of issues) Also it seemed to get worse on certain maps (icespire peak and any icy map really)

I don't dispute the behaviour but what makes you believe it is a memory leak and why are we all not experiencing it if that's the case?

I'm having the issue with max physics debris 5 (min), shadows off, AA 2x, lighting off...

Was fine a week and a half ago (with higher settings), issue mainly crops up with large guys, and cleric aoe shield ability when combined with CW Arcane Singularity (black hole) or Conduit of Ice (ice whirlwind). Really annoying to try and replicate consistently. It works fine, then it doesn't, then it does, then a boss comes and it doesn't.

This. I'm running a 6 core processor on a single 7850 video card. I just went all the way to the top of Icespire where this was happening and after turning this setting to low experienced 0 FPS loss.

    My thanks Mr. warpet!

The interest thing is that it happening from time to time .So times it's all cool and I can max-out the settings in the game and I mean MAX ALL out ,all on high very mega high and it works perfect and some times it starts out of nowhere and no matter what you try, getting all on LOW and I mean ALL settings ,simply wont fix and the thing is FPS is about 40-50 in the middle of the district and PING about 100-200 ....and still got a delay on every action I take on my char ....
Don't know if it's the same problem as this one but this is what happened to me. Beside this I play Planet Side 2 all on very mega high and it works really good ,my Win 7 is 5 days fresh and on my comp only NW, PlanetSide2,Winamp,Raidcall are installed + brand new drivers for all ...

it's very likely that the devs just haven't smoothed everything out yet. 3 weeks in, you can't expect perfection. it's very likely to be resolved eventually. must i speak of WoW's launch? while i too experience lag and frame rate drops from time to time, what can i do? (even with lowered graphics it still lags) it'll be fixed, just have patience.
