F2P vs P2P War. This will never end?

With new MMOs incoming (ESO, Black Desert, etc...) many forums are speculating, the mayority about the monetary base on these games. just flame wars, all over again.
"This game will be P2P. Period."
"By the look and the gameplay, it will F2P for sure!"
"name various F2P games that are succesful. 0, all are garbage, P2P FTW!"
"It should be like GW2, B2P is the future!"
For ESO, there is NOT NEWS YET!
I just don't get it! what happend if ESO is finally a F2P game AND become succesful afterward? the others will still complaining?
Other example is, Black Desert. This game is a sandbox and by the look, it will become succesful (even if is a korean MMO) but more likely, F2P, I readed forums and comments written mostly of hoping, wishing, cursing, etc... about the business model of the game.
FF14 is comfirmed as P2P game, will become succesful or a complete garbage? That I don't know. The same like, Command and Conquer: Generals, that is confirmed as F2P game.
then comes KUF2, a (Korean) MMO and sequel of Kingdom Under Fire: Crusade. F2P AND is confirmed for release in South Korea.
