The PWE website doesn't tell in the conversion rates.
Thanks!

. . . . . The AD Exchange is a player driven market, there will never be a set value of that conversion but there is a minimum and maximum, 25-500 so the lowest the rate of Z:AD could be is 1:25 with highest of 1:500. The PWE Zen to NWO Zen ratio is 1:1 however. So if you buy 2000 Zen and transfer those 2000 Zen to your NWO Account, you'll get all 2000 Zen, unlike some other PWE Games where the ratio is less.
You can use the AD / ZEN market place (it's a free market and not dictated by Cryptic/PWI). The current rate is roughly 380 - 400 AD per 1 Zen. Weekdays rate tend to be cheaper than weekend rate.
And it only gives me one option for Neverwinter server, I don't get to choose beholder/dragon/etc?
. . . . .There is only one Server at the moment. Please see my recent reply here (quoted below). You'll be able to spend your Zen on any Shard. You cannot transfer AD between Shards though, so be sure you spend them on the shard you plan on playing in. If load permits, they do plan on merging shards in the future just as they will add more Shards if the need dictates.
. . . . . Dragon, Mindflayer, and Beholder are three Shards of the Neverwinter Server. In all Cryptic Games, you choose your Server on the Launcher. Neverwinter introduced Server-Layered Technology, allowing them to in effect, have servers inside servers - this is just one of a handful of new technologies introduced into the Cryptic Engine for Neverwinter Online.
. . . . . If load permits, they do plan on merging shards in the future just as they will add more Shards if the need dictates.
So it is possible that additional shards may be created rather than combining them?
That could be really painful for me as I have made characters on each shard to see what the atmosphere was like since we were told they were going to be combined, and all of my ZEN bought AD is on my main. However, if I interpret your statement correctly, these shards may not be combined and may in fact be added to, so it is possible I can never get access to that AD on my other characters?

. . . . . As they stated a while back, they are able to do both as needed. They can combine them or add more as needed either way. No two characters on one Account can share the same name and neither can there be two Guilds of the same name on multiple Shards, because they are One Server. So there will be no issues of conflicts if and/or when merges do happen. I don't see what could be harmed when shards are combined or more added, in relation to having characters on multiple Shards. Please do explain your reasoning for this worry, as I am truly at a loss.

Thank you for your very quick reply.
Sorry, I realised after typing my (now edited) previous post that I left out the fact that I had taken my ZEN out on my main. So if the shards are never merged (as had been originally stated) I won't be able to access the ZEN (or AD) on those alts on other shards
As my main is closing on 60 and my alts on other servers are much lower it would be useful to know whether a server merge will eventually take place so that I can decide whether to re-roll / start new characters on my main's server.

. . . . . Your Zen is available to spend on any Shard, it is not Shard Specific. To make sure things didn't change, I just created a new character on Dragon - all my other characters are on Mindflayer. All my Zen is available to me on Dragon as well. If you have Zen still sitting in the AD Exchange, all you need to do is withdraw it from the AD Exchange Pool. It will then go into your Neverwinter Account Pool and be available on any character on the Account, regardless of Shard.
. . . . . Astral Diamonds however, those are restricted to the Shard they are on. This is because each Shard has its own AD Exchange and Auction House. To transfer AD between Shards, one would need to work the AD Exchange. E.G. - Sell AD for Zen on one Shard, buy AD with Zen on another Shard.

Which can have interesting effects since the AD:Zen conversion rates are different between the 3 shards. You could end up with noticably more or less AD than you had originally.
Example:
You have 50700 AD and the current rate on your shard is 390:1
This will get you 130 Zen.
The shard you're transferring to has a 350:1 rate, which means 45500 AD for your 130 Zen.
A "loss" of 5200 AD even though the converted Zen value is the same. Had you done it the other way around you'd have "earned" 5200 AD.
How often is the conversion rate updated? Daily? Weekly?
. . . . . AD Exchange Rates? It updates in real time based upon player demand, as it is a player driven economy. Just watch the listings for about 10 minutes and you'll see the rates change before your very eyes. Indeed!

I had converted all the ZEN to diamonds, but glad to know that I can transfer via this method.

I'll wait for a good ratio before I transfer my Zen into AD then!
Thanks guys.
In that case i think it depends on server. On our server (Dragon) is about 360 AD for 1 ZEN...
