Invoking

I am past level 11 and I tried CTRL+I at both a campfire and a portable altar but nothing happend, tried siwtching the bind to a more simple key and still nothing happend.

. . . . . Go speak with Sergeant Knox, he will grant you a quest to go speak with the lady (Formerly Felicia, I forget what they changed her name to) in front of the Shrine of the Gods in Protector's Enclave. One of them will progress and unlock the Invocation ability for you at level 11.

Yep, that was my problem, the wiki said all you needed was level 11, I had no idea a special quest was involved.
