Here's a little short story I wrote not too long ago, I hope everyone enjoys.

Yes, there is magic still lingering in this world and I own such a object. What is this object? At first glance it appears to be a mere ring, with a band in the ring that spins. But a enchantment has been cast on it that protects the wearer and gives the Hero/Heroine luck for the rest of the day. (+ 2 to all universal saving rolls and armor class)

No, you don't have say any silly words to activate the power within. Its fairly simple to use you just need to spin or twist it 3 times in any direction you wish. So the spell can be woven in silence if one needs it. This ring has saved my HAMSTER plenty of times aboard and in my daily encounters. From vile mortars and missles, and my own travels where trouble follows.

I had to protect this ring from those who would coveted it after me, thieves and thugs and female admirers. Once I was befallen to a abyssal demon and she sought to break the rings enchantment by casting a enchantment of her own on a refrigerator which she commanded me to move. The spell made it appear to weigh less than it looked and the crushing weight nearly bent the ring thus preventing it from spinning. Lucky for me I was able to save it and repair it myself but it still has a subtle hint of a bend in it, a reminder to never again place trust in such vile creatures.

Now, you ask where did I find such a ring? In my adventures overseas in foreign lands, I came across a bazaar ( Aladdin's bazaar ) in Afghanistan in which I met a merchant who appeared more than he seemed. He said he had a ring for me and took my finger size. Then this mysterious Merchant promised me in 1 month a magical master crafted ring and he then ventured to the Ancient Afghan city of Kubal. Now there is many of trinkets I purchased that lost their luster or turned green or gone awry in some way, many of those merchants were rogues with fenced and bootlegged gear and gadgets all except for this ring.

I'm trying my hand at short story telling, like and fav share troll my grammar or a cool story bro will work. Tell me if you have something neato that might have magic in it. Thank you for taking the time to read.
