I don't know if this system was removed but If the spammer actually gets enough "ignores", he will be muted for several minutes.

    24 hours.

And no, this feature is standard in all of Cryptic's titles. Getting enough /ignores or right click name - Report Spammer will mute someone from all methods of talking for a 24 hour period.

. . . . . Right-click and Report Spam - not only will the bring the attention of a GM faster than multiple-ignores but it will also ignore the user for you. Alternatively, you can press H (by default) and then press GM to file a behavior report on the @handle

. . . . . Not when the Report Spam feature is used. This causes a GM ticket to be made.

I'll be completely honest here - based on experience from CO, that's not quite true.

Both /ignore and /report_spammer increment an internal counter (with report spammer increasing it by more). Once you hit X counters, you get 24 hour chat banned. And there's absolutely no way to remove said counters without getting banned.

The system may generate a GM ticket when you use /report_spammer, but it's definitely doing the first bit at the same time. So you can and will get muted before a GM ever gets involved.

Just wondering, does in game gold have any value? i mean its just used to buy potions and basic mounts right? If im not mistaken Astral diamonds and zen is the real currency? If so, i dont see how its profitable to sell gold

gold buys the general necessities to play this game such as potions, basic profession items, basic mounts, and basic companions.

Yea, i made this thread because regulars sellers, the ones who use zone chat have a *lifespan* from 1-6 posts, this seller using say chat spammed close to 5 minutes by posting once very 20 secs. And since it was by rhix, say chat reaches market, bank and ah.
I could read the spam while i was doing average stuff like banking runes, buying kits, checking the ah.
