Wanted to clarify that the messages until now are responding to a problem I ran into while using a cell phone. Fixed by using laptop.

Don't use special characters when you write, this forum does not allow them and will cut posts at the first special character it encounters.

If you use ascii characters (e.g. u with circumflex for Selune, or Faerun) it will get cut off.

You can try to use some of the characters from the Character Map tool that windows machines have, but not all of them are supported. Look at my signature, which has some use of special characters from that system tool. I was able to use the large black dot, but not the small black dot for example.

But yes, it's probably advisable to not use them at all unless you're sure you won't get flamboozled when you try to post with 'em.
