A few days ago I decided to change out my phone box that is on the wall with one that had gold contacts and I gained about 100 KB/s speed. My old box was really old.
Yesterday I upgraded my internet speed and now I have double what I had before. 500 KB/s instead of the 250 I was getting.
Also, yesterday I ordered a new speaker system for my desktop. Two speakers and one woofer speaker for bass. So, now I will have good sound when playing the game.
Currently downloading 422 songs from amazon that I purchased before and put on my laptop, now I am putting them on my desktop. About to install iTunes and import my songs to that so that I can use iTunes in neverwinter.
Need to clean the buttons on my naga epic.
What are you guys doing to prepare for the upcoming beta weekend and open beta?
Reformated my pc and the only thing that takes space on it now is neverwinter and Torchlight 2. Also cleaned my keyboard and the mouse. Im as ready as i can be.
''Well, just as I suspected... I couldn't see it because it's invisible.''
I just installed a mounted laptop in my bathroom. There will be no downtime! ..but seriously I am excited for a set in stone date and one that is closer then expected. I will also get some additional music downloaded. Maybe splurge on a nice bottle of rum. Oh oh I also need to purchase the Guardian pack.
I need to pick out a microphone (or headset) for the voice chat. I have never used any voice chat in all my years playing MMOs. Guess one needs to start sometime!
Just makes me feel weird when I roll a female character and my deep voice answers in chat.

NOPE! Not ready. Waiting for tax return so I can buy my new gaming laptop. Unfortunately the fiscal cliff delayed things, so I am looking at mid-april before I see my refund. (Despite having mailed my refund in early February.) So, new laptop, download NW again (or transfer from external drive if possible), reinstall all my software... I only hope I get it all done before open beta!!
Yep, I'm ready - I'll run Skype on my brother's computer, so that won't hog any resources... Unfortunately, I am not in a position to spend any big bucks on new hardware.
Um, I cleaned my keyboard. Fixed a bad wire connect on the left lead channel on my Klipsch/THX speakers, although I'm counting on the music being not that remarkable anyways.
Already got all that stuff and my PC can handle anything the game can dish out. I'm not much of a multi-tasker when I game, all my attention goes to the game.

It's just a video game, I don't feel any need to do anything special.

Ya in my area, my phone company is way behind on technology. Max speed plan I could get is 6 Mbps which costs $99. I currently got the 4 Mbps, which is 500 KB/s, for $49 a month.
I live in Texas. I guess my speed isn't too bad cause I do live out in the country and not in the city. I could probably get a much better internet speed if I got cable. If they even offer cable in my area.

Sorry, I had to XP

I draw my own signature/avatar when I am bored.
I Have a GTX 560TI and it maxes the graphics on this.
I guess if my graphics card goes out, I got a brand new GTX560 in my closet in case it happens.
Yea, it's maxed out. But on the side I wish I could play Skyrim, maxed out with ENB filters and such.

My god man...
Where do you live? Rwanda?
and my mind can take the loong wait
You make it sound like a 570 is a bad or outdated GPU lol!
LOL! And Now we torture you with the Comfy Chair and the Plushy Pillows!
(Sorry, lame reference to Monty Python and the Spanish Inquisition, I couldn't resist... please don't reciprocate with more RL references)
I know some people who feel much the same way about football and the Super Bowl. It's just football, why do anything special?
I personally enjoy throwing delicious (if small) Super Bowl parties, with a feast and adult beverages galore.
To each his own though!
MAN! Where did you find the conversion cables for THAT? And what a home project! ;D
Outdated for me. Not for most I guess. lol
