For me, it's Gelatinous Cubes, and their cousins of the jelly, slime and mold variety. I have nothing but love for the Cube and nothing would make my dungeon crawl better than a run in with said Cube. Hell, I'd love to have a mini one as a companion pet!

Here's a great piece of artwork with the old GC! Note the halfling poking it, haha! Poke poke!

So please, Cryptic please do not forsake the Cube!

    One word:

    Tarrasque

Nothing scares the living and the dead like a Tarrasque. I wonder if a party of 5 max level characters could take it down?
When a prince uses force, he acts like a beast. He must learn to act like two types of beasts: lions and foxes. A fox is defenseless against wolves; a lion is defenseless against traps. Chapter XVIII: of il principe

There already is a cube. Was friggin awesome. Forget where it was but I saw it during BW1. I got a cleric to 30.

I was trying to get my companion eaten to see what the graphics would look like.

I want to see a demi-lich. Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that I would like to know that there is a demi-lich somewhere in the game so that someday when I am big and powerful I could stand a chance of surviving the encounter.

Yeah...have our souls ripped to shreds...sounds fun. D:

It might go down long enough to gnaw on our corpses. Unless nuclear Fission is a tradeskill I think I'll be leaving that beast alone :D

Its the Clock Tower that has the Gelatinous Cube. It is a level 29ish instance. There might be more Cubes, but it seems to be a really rare mob.

As much as my Order and other followers of Magic despise them... the Hakeashar & Phaerimm! I've always been intrigued by the Shadevari as well. Must have dragons although, of all types, indeed. Mimics, Liches, Beholders, Ozzes, Cubes... oh man.. so many too choose from and I could go on.. and on..

I had success :D unless it was just a strange glimpse of a partial animation, when my sellsword got swallowed up she was writhing around in that slime with her limbs going everywhere.

It was like a scene out of some hentai man, I forgot to attack for a few seconds as I just went O_o at the screen.

    Githyanki (githzerai)

That may be a little out there (as most of the Fiend Folio creations are) with the Planar travel, silver swords and cords, etc. Of course for all I know they are in game all over.

Oh the Tarrasque has to be in Neverwinter. I'm ready for some good player made content involving this creature.

These were split from the necro'd topic and given their own (redux) thread.

    Here's the old thread.

Yeah, the Tarrasque is something that I hope to one day encounter and die by. It's been an integral part of my PnP Campaign, despite it being sent to the future by a player's improperly worded wish spell. So.. they'll encounter it again... muwhahahaha!

Lore wise that should be nearly impossible unless max level characters are expected to take on entities that gods have trouble dealing with.

In all seriousness: werewolves. Cool-looking ones (without those lame, newfangled, long ears that point backwards that people put on them in so many things today) that are - hopefully - playable in some capacity, even if it's just an item I have to pay "real people" money for and it's nothing more than an aesthetic appearance change at will.

In not quite complete seriousness but definitely still true: green slimes.
