Displacer Beasts!Archived Post wrote: »For me, it's Gelatinous Cubes, and their cousins of the jelly, slime and mold variety. I have nothing but love for the Cube and nothing would make my dungeon crawl better than a run in with said Cube. Hell, I'd love to have a mini one as a companion pet!
Here's a great piece of artwork with the old GC! Note the halfling poking it, haha! Poke poke!

So please, Cryptic please do not forsake the Cube!

Noooo...displacer beasts are OP
Tarrasque
Nothing scares the living and the dead like a Tarrasque. I wonder if a party of 5 max level characters could take it down?

There already is a cube. Was friggin awesome. Forget where it was but I saw it during BW1. I got a cleric to 30.
I was trying to get my companion eaten to see what the graphics would look like.
Yeah...have our souls ripped to shreds...sounds fun.
It might go down long enough to gnaw on our corpses. Unless nuclear Fission is a tradeskill I think I'll be leaving that beast alone
Its the Clock Tower that has the Gelatinous Cube. It is a level 29ish instance. There might be more Cubes, but it seems to be a really rare mob.

I had success unless it was just a strange glimpse of a partial animation, when my sellsword got swallowed up she was writhing around in that slime with her limbs going everywhere.
It was like a scene out of some hentai man, I forgot to attack for a few seconds as I just went O_o at the screen.

That may be a little out there (as most of the Fiend Folio creations are) with the Planar travel, silver swords and cords, etc. Of course for all I know they are in game all over.
Oh the Tarrasque has to be in Neverwinter. I'm ready for some good player made content involving this creature.
Yeah, the Tarrasque is something that I hope to one day encounter and die by. It's been an integral part of my PnP Campaign, despite it being sent to the future by a player's improperly worded wish spell. So.. they'll encounter it again... muwhahahaha!

There's always room...
giant apocalyptic monsters popping out of time and space while i'm having a nice picnic in the middle of nowhere
sounds awsome -_-
In not quite complete seriousness but definitely still true: green slimes.
