I run a fairly high end comp with Windows 7. I was disconnected from the game many times on Sunday the 24th. Interestingly, it didn't happen to me on either Friday or Saturday. I thought it was just a "Beta thing". I did send in a bug report.

I crashed over 100 times during the course of BW3, having suffered maybe a combined 5 crashes over BW 1 and 2 combined. This leads me to believe that hardware and drivers shouldn't really be the issue here, something in the game client has made it extremely unstable.
I can't speak as to disconnections. But regarding the hourly (20 minutes to an hour) crashing... there was a new patch today and nVidia also happened to release updated drivers today (or last night). I just finished playing almost two hours without a single glitch, much less any crashing. Albeit, not as many people in-world at this time, but hopefully by upgrading your video drivers: the issue is solved.

I have a PC win 7 64 bit OS and started out crashing every 2 or 5 minutes, this happened too many times to count. I finally was able to play enough to level up a level which means at least 1 hour or more. I just started crashing again and stopped playing to come and check the forum. I live in Europe in case anyone wants to compare if that is the problem. I am just editing to say how much I am enjoying the game even with the crashing. I bought the $60.00 Pkg and so glad I did.
I hope PW will discover what is causing the crashes.
We are working on lots of the crash reports. I have a couple suggestions for reporting crashes on the forums. First, if you can include the Cryptic Error number, that can sometimes help us respond sooner, or tell you the disposition of the crash(es) you are experiencing. Many of the crash descriptions here don't provide enough information for me to comment on whether we've received a bug report, enough crash dumps to identify and fix the problem, and so on.
Additionally, we are actively working on client stability right now, and have been for the past few months. I do have two specific types of problems which I'm working on right now. I've asked sominator to start a couple sticky threads for me:
If you could take a look at these threads and post relevant information there if you know something about the crashes, or have experienced them, you could help get them resolved!
I hope this helps. Thanks for playing our games, and taking the time to report problems.
It sounds strange but I almost always crash out and have my modem reset when I try to join a party. Or invite a party.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one whose modem is resetting. I do like the looks of the game so far, but my modem resets itself as well. I play for about 20 minutes and then it comes up with the Connection Time Out type of message, I look over at my modem and the lights are flashing signifying it reset.
I run on Windows 7 64, my specs pass minimum requirements. My ISP is Time Warner and it only ever happens when I load Neverwinter. I called Time Warner and they said the problem doean't appear to be on their end. Other MMO's work just fine. Please try to address this problem so I can play once beta is over.
Hi guys, i love neverwinter for starters, amazing game. I am not enjoying the fact that i can be in a city and collect all my quests but then when i have to leave to go through a gate or a door to another city or the bar for example. My game goes to the loading screen, doesn't load and pops up with "server not responding" happens all the time. Its not my internet as i don't have any problems with connection issues for all the other games i play..It is getting really frustrating when u constantly have to log back in again and again and again
This happens to me not by a time frame, meaning it doesn't happen every 5-10min or 30mins etc. This happens when i want to go through a gate to another city or even just a door to go into the frigin bar.
My Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
AMD Phenom(tm) II x4 965 Processor (4CPUs) ~3.4GHz
4GB RAM
Display: ASUS EAH5870 Series
Is that all you need from specs? first time for everything
I am running Windows 7 64 bit on Acer. I get to the place where it states rats nest quest complete. Fought some minions. Look around and the laptop just powers off. Tried it again a bit later and same thing. Never heard of a bug that can cause the computer to power off. Any info that I can provide to help debug?
I have WIN 7 64 9800 GT and I can play up to about an hour most before this game freezes my computer and I have to manually restart. I have updated my drivers for my graphics card as well as re-installed the game and I have played it in windowed mode on low settings it doesn't matter what I do I get the same issue.
I can't play for more than like 20 minutes or so without the client crashing and taking my entire system down with it. I wouldn't mind so much if I could just log in again but I have to restart my computer every single time. Playing in windowed mode seemed to help at first but now it happens anyway. Does not matter where or what im doing in-game, it just freezes my entire system. Its not heat related, temps are fine. No other games freeze like this.
I like this game, but this is really irritating. Whats interesting is I played for HOURS at at time on my laptop with a AMD APU and 4gb of ram. Makes no sense.
I think it's important to note the KIND of crash. "Crash" can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
Video/Audio Lock-up to forced Blue-screen or restart
Instant Reboot
Client crash (back to desktop)
Shut Down with no restart
etc.
Event: Full PC shut down. It doesn't lock up, or blue-screen. The whole thing just turns off. No "Windows shut down incorrectly" upon reboot. No graphic anomalies or looping sound.
Hardware: Radeon HD 5700 (update drivers due to this issue), Intel Core2Duo (2.66Ghz), 4Gb RAM, Win7 64bit
When: Cut-scenes or dialogue, so far. I drop graphics to minimum (both settings for performance, Windowed mode) and haven't had the issue (only tested for about 45 minutes thus far).
I've run GW2, D3, and LoL at medium-high settings within the last few months. No issues what-so-ever.
My crash is actually a bit strange, it just locks everything up completely. No restart or blue screen, everything just locks solid, even the mouse cursor. The only other time I have ever had it happen is when Mechwarrior Online had a really bad memory leak.

"•NVIDIA SLI Technology – Adds or updates the following SLI profiles (since GeForce 314.14 drivers):
◦Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter – Added DX9 SLI profile
THIS May have been what fixed my crashing.
I hope PW will discover what is causing the crashes.
