What will be the most popular race?

I'm personally afraid the entire world will play tieflings and drow, but I'll be going for human.

What do you think?

    Humans will be the most popular, hands-down. I cannot remember an MMORPG with humans in it where they were not either the most popular, or it was too close to call.

    My experience in World of Warcraft tells me the naughty elves will dominate, at least in the RP community.

    I'll be playing a dwarf, myself, if my username didn't already betray that fact. ;)

    Im afraid to say but I would almost bet that its going to be Drizzt clones that are the most popular followed up by humans. To bad there are not more stout dwarf.

    I will play dwarf cause there wont be many and I kind of look like a dwarf. And dwarves rule!!!!

    I will be a dwarf cleric, dual-wielding warhammers. Sorry, thinking about another game. Would be nice if they have dual-wielding clerics in the future though.

    Game needs more dwarves, though I'm still torn between a human and half elf ;>_>

    Drow is obviously going to be a popular race. Probably why its not being public released till 60 days in. I would also assume its like $5-10 to unlock it. You gotta think if game comes out mid April then Drow becomes playable/buyable in mid June. Players get the chance to jump on other races and experience them then all the sudden 60d later boom you get chance at something you really want. And in a company mind if you can't afford $5-10 then you shouldnt be playing games anyways.

    "Poll: What race will you play at launch? (can pick multiple options)" Have Halfling and Half-Orc been confirmed for launch? Last I heard they were just rumored to be in at launch.

    Well, based on the assumption that Half-Orc is in at launch, I will be playing a Half-Orc, and a Tiefling.

    Human will be the most popular at launch, followed by Dwarf; but only because Drow is not available free of charge for 60 days.

    I would say elves would be second most popular next to humans tell drow come about. Dwarf players have always been a rare breed in fantasy mmos. Majority of people want to look fabulous in game.

    It was hard picking just one... I'll be rolling an Elf Tiefling and Halfling on launch. Shoulda made it multi-selectable ;)

    Edit: Waking up and taking polls isn't advisable. Reading hard...

    It is Multi select, I chose two.

    Forums tend to over-represent lore fiends. Drow will dominate this poll because most forum regulars have read the books, but most players won't have heard of them, and will roll humans.

    I'll be rolling Dwarf. Never played one as my main in any game before. I will ride around on my giant spider with my stubby little legs sticking down, and type in a bad impression of a Scots accent. Because in my head, all Dwarves are Scots.

    Shouldn't include Drow as they are not a playable race at launch. Such a shame too, hate getting bamboozled by greedy suits in the front office. Would love to see 1 or more of the Devs grow a pair and tell them this is a disaster.
