Yeah they'll be cumulative. You can buy as many Adventurer Helper packs as you want, 1 character slot in each one (all cumulative). Basically you could buy 100 character slots if you really wanted.

Wouldn't bother waiting for a supermod to answer - this is common sense.
Only the HotN and Guardian packs have extra character slots. So the most you can get right now is 2 base +3 HotN +1 Guardian = 6. However, you should be able to buy more with ZEN at launch. Based on prices in CO and STO they will probably be 500-800 ZEN each and maybe only in packs of 2 slots for 1000-1600 ZEN.

    100 ZEN = $1.00 US.

ZEN can be earned in game by trading AD on the exchange. You get AD from selling items to other players on the Auction House, from Invoking, and from certain quests. And of course you get them with the HotN and Guardian packs. The exchange will be limited so that you can only trade at a rate of 25-500 AD per ZEN. When the game opens the exchange will start with people selling at 25, but by the time the head start access is over will probably be over 100 and I would expect it to eventually settle at around 200. But, if you manage to sell all 750k from a HotN pack while it is still at 25 you will get 30,000 ZEN (about $300 worth!).

Edit: The 25-500 AD/ZEN limit is not officially announced. I am sure I heard it in one of the videos but I can't find it to confirm. It is the limit currently set for Dilithium in the STO store and it would fit nicely in the claimed value of the HotN pack.

Adventurer's Helper packs are a bunch of items that certainly don't give Extra character Slots and that are included in the Founder packs.

The Neverwinter Starter pack doesn't give any Extra Character Slot and you can buy as many as you want per account.

Sorry, just mis-named it. I meant the Neverwinter Starter Pack (the one that gives 1 character slot per pack) is stackable. I actually thought those packs sold a character slot...weird, did they change it? Must've just got confused with the extra bagspace =)

The Starter Kit does not give a character slot. It gives one +1 Amulet of Protection, a 12 slot bag for each character, and one Helper's Kit containing: A Large Health Stone, 10,000 XP booster, 5 Scroll of Raise Dead, 5 Portable Altars, 10 Identify Scrolls, and a 25 pack of skill consumables.

This is what I am planning on doing if I buy the hero pack.

Just to update this. So far I've spent 500 Zen to get a character slot pack which had two slots. Sp I'm sure I will at least buy one more pack of 2 for one of each class with an open one for the next class as well. Yes I AM an Altaholic.
