Hi,

Since we are all still waiting for next beta weekend and more news about NWO I thought to ask that what kind of RP do you people usually like to play.

My favorites are the ones that are more heavily invested in story (that is why I love World of Darkness setting) and ones that are less burdened by the rules.

Yeah I favor the same kind of RP. One of the liberating aspects of MMOs is because most of the mathematical rule mechanics are handled for you, it allows you to focus even more on story.

Of course, there are other limiting factors in MMOs that can hamper RP over your gaming table, but overall I find MMOs a great place to weave/craft story-based RP.

Neverwinter, with its Foundry will augment and enrich story-based RP even more.

Our guild SHADOW is a plot-based RP guild. We'll literally be taking turns acting as "author" of various adventures and stories within our guild. It's a highly collaborative and fun way to play an MMO, that has worked for us very successfully in other games.
