Why am I paying in euros! when i am in the UK and i deal with GBP. The conversion rate is pathetic between euro and GBP, and we sadly have to pay more money
I agree with you! The price is posted up as $199.99 which converts to around

Talk to your country's trade commission/government that handles the international payments including VAT. All laws are being followed by Cryptic, and this isn't a convenience thing.

Let me also just chime in the value is directly translated. It does not and will not ever matter anywhere whether you pay in pounds or euros.
The Value Added Tax, VAT, Comes out to about an additional 50 dollar charge. They aren't charging you more for using Euros. If you paid in pounds you would still have to pay the VAT.

I don't know all the international laws, but this is illegal in Norway. If you sell/advertise an item for x amount of money you are obliged to sell it at that price, not raise it without warning based on who's buying it. I would've bought the $60 pack right away if it weren't for me noticing that the price magically changed from $60 to €56 after I told it my location.
Also, I don't see why this has to be a VAT thing as I've bought countless of games from other sites with the dollar price, are you saying all those sites are breaking the law by selling it for the same price to everyone?
It's Illegal in Denmark as well.
The only way this could be legal, would be if they Advertised the difference in price, but they don't. The price real price only shows up AFTER you give them the location and go to the payment page.
I'm pretty sure quite a few people will fall into this trap. Paying about 75$ while thinking that they payed 60$
After checking other games I think there is more to it than VAT. There is some form of miscommunication or something for this issue does requires a proper look into it.
The angry posts with abuses from players are not helping, the superficial official redressal to it also is not helping either. They can at least sell these packs locally in Europe as they already have office and servers in Europe already.

This has to do with the trade rate or the country's individual taxes/tarrifs/compacts. PWE lists the price in USD and it's up to the country of origin's portal to handle the transaction laws including the purchaser options. PWE is in no way responsible for this. At this time, this thread cannot help any person on this, and again, nor is it PWE's responsibility. If you still feel it's somehow PWE's fault, you may contact Support or directly email them, but this thread is no longer open.
