So I love watching X-Play and Attack of the Show and they are being canceled. The last episode of X-Play come on Wednesday. The fact that these shows will be gone makes me sad, anyone else. I was really hoping to see Neverwinter on the MMO Report someday.
So what do you guys think?

It is probably for the same reason that the International Gaming Conventions are steadily being larger and more featured then the ones in North America used to be....

Ah, I forgot about that. But I think that was more based around the Host Station itself shifting steadily away from being owned by a Technology oriented organization.

WOW what a shame. Although the station and both shows have kind of been going down hill for a couple years now. That still real sucks. They use to be some of the only shows I looked forward to watching on TV. I am sure the new channel will have lots of terrible "reality" shows to bring the IQs of the populace down even farther.

I have an idea Andre, Truth, Gillrmn, Surf, and Ambisinister(why the heck do I keep wanting to call him Elminster) can create a podcast to cover everything Xplay would have covered.(just a joke)
Hmmmmm, i have a love-hate relationship with both those shows. I enjoyed the content, i just wasn't a big fan of their side-show humor that often disgusted me more then it made me chuckle.
Or perhaps this is simply i sign that i am becoming a grumpy old HAMSTER.
On a positive/sad note, we will most likely never see a show of it's type on Cable or Satellite Television.
....Oh... wait, it's not Cable or Satellite TV anymore?? oh... it's called "Digital TV" now? ..gosh darn kids and their gizmos..

Yah I usually preferred the game info and movie and tech reviews more than the humor. So its not just you. I love watching but sometimes AOTS had to much um.. It wasnt very um... proper.

Actually will miss Attack of the Show but the merger really killed a lot of my gaming programs on that merged channel and effectively stopped watching years ago. No Olivia Munn anyway

I think that for X-play, there just stopped being such a need for a television show that cannot keep up with the pace of information that can be dissiminated over the internet, much like the decline of gaming print magazines. There was also the hinted problem with X-Play's objectivity in their review process for games, which partially led to Adam Sessler's departure, after his prolific lifespan with the show and the channel(s).
Three rules of roleplaying: 1. Listen at doors, 2. Always have some rope, and 3. Search the bodies.
