Hey I downloaded the Gimp program mentioned in another thread intending to use it on the Area map to help refine it some more. (which I will)
I got to looking through some photos and found a good screenshot of some Neverwinter wizard action and thought to try and make it into a wallpaper.
So
here it is.

Maybe frost like logo with the frost spells will go good.
In case you need complete transparent logo of NW here.
That said, the wallpaper looks good.
EDIT: Also, right click on logo layer and use "layer to image size" if you want to blur it. You can also blur a copy of image heavily behind the original image to make it spread.
That is the hardest thing to actually. My style is to use "incandescent gradient" fill in seperate layer and then use "IWarp..." option (somewhere in distort I think). Then use grow vertically with different values of "radius". After that, use swirl (either CW or CCW) vertically near the edges. It doesn't give very satisfactory flame, but it is still somewhat ok.
Basically this way.
But there are other better ways to do it. It was the earliest of ways I think so I still use it.
EDIT: I will try to make one - NW logo with flame around the black border?
I disintegrated the NW logo a bit too, to show it is burning.
I went wallpaper crazy lol made quite a few for everyone to check out.

ENJOY!
Or try something that looks a bit more artsy and graphic-novel-ish, like this.
By the way Gillrmn I updated the Area map too.
