During the time of the Spell-Plague and the Ghost King, chaos befell Caradoon and the SnowFlake mountains.

several families fled the small town to seek refuge in the neighbouring villages and towns, some not making it past the masses of murderous undead, some making it to safety... this is the story of Crayge Ravenscroft, one of two remaining members of the Ravenscroft family line.

Mostly human with some elven charm and features that his family-tree does not admit, Crayge had no trouble handling minor cantrips or enchanting songs from a young age.
Keen to learn about his true heritage early on, he spent some years in the service of a recluse mage. Philosophy, song and magic filled the eager young mind daily, and on the odd trip into a local city for components the boy would travel into the library to study Elven history, the name Ravenscroft and some time reading up on Necromancy (to understand the powers that destroyed Caradoon and the Spirit Soaring).
On one of these afternoons, A Priestess of Deneir, by the name of Keri Silva stole his heart with talk of Denier and an expedition to Neverwinter, to set up a House of Learning and Knowledge, to understand the instability in the weave, the evil that lingers in the City and to try to teach those that would listen.

Crayge, eager to feel adventure, eager to taste freedom from his tutelage, eager to basque in the Metatext, joined Keri Silva, not only in her journey to set up a library and sanctuary in Neverwinter but in her service to Denier, by expanding his knowledge and in time, his power....

An ancient oath, constantly on the tip of his toungue, in the crackling energy in his fingertips...

Caradoon, Spirit Soaring and the Ravenscrofts will be avenged.
