Draining Choker appearance override not working..

When equipped with the new neck piece (Draining Choker), appearance override does not work.
I have tried every other appearance item and nothing seems to work wings, cape etc.
Please help me resolve this as I would love to use the capes(e.g. Starfade Cape) and wings appearance.
