Flax Flowers - What is going on?

As usual, the Flax Flower respawn rate has been changed. It's become like the flowering fields where you have to change instances to avoid getting 0 flowers. Why don't you guys fix these issues with the events? It's been years now and you can see all the posts regarding flax flowers, empty flowers, 0 return on this and 0 return on that. This is with EVERY major event you guys have that you have to gather resources.

Please someone fix this stuff! It's very annoying when you have limited time to play and you have to spend double the time to gather resources.

    At least when you are harvesting the red flowers for crafting or daily quest, there is a diminishing returns mechanism. After you have harvested a few 10's of plants, they start to come up empty. It will get worse and worse the more you harvest.

    You can switch zone to reset it, but it seems that the zone will remember you anyways, so in the end you run out of zones.

    This obviously is intended to put a limit on how many flowers you can harvest.

    While I never harvested enough flax to observe this for flax plants as well, it is very likely that the same mechanism applies to flax harvesting as well.

    No, the flax thing comes and goes. After a big server reset they take forever to reappear, but after a few days they start popping up faster again. I was able to go back and forth at one stage between two single plants where the lake is (water battle area) and just do my 10 on each character there that way (it worked elsewhere too where there were two flowers close to each other, just go back and forth between them with no waiting, pick one the other one has come back, pick that, the other one comes back and so on), but after the first reset it changed and once you picked them both, nothing came back at all and you had to go and chase them elsewhere. But after a few days they started spawning faster again and yesterday at least it was back to the two to and fro thing. But somewhere in all of that there was a 2nd reset and where they had gone fast again, they again stopped showing up and took forever to come back. Imo they are definitely doing something to the refresh rates of the flax on the backend but I think it keeps resetting itself.

    Hmmm... I wondered if the respawning of a given flax plant depended on how many other flax plants were collected in the same instance.
    So it might depend on how busy each instance is...

    I thought about that because didn't people work out that the Avernus hunt respawning was similar? One group would respawn after a number of other groups were killed elsewhere on the map.

    That's manes. You have to kill a certain amount of them to spawn the one which has the chains.

    That was all the basic hunt targets to get trophies for.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.
