unable to enter or do icewind dale, entry quest is bugged for me.

A long time ago I am sure had the quest picked up to do icewind dale. I played but I didnt mess with starting zone on 2 of my alts.
when I got around to it I find it broken and unable to start or enter the zone.

In my quest log, if I select to show completed quests in my log it shows under Caer-Konig
"storms king's thunder" and "a chillwind" as completed quests.

the zone says in red, to complete the quest icewind dale from sargent knox to enter,
knox has no quest for me, (captain dunmash has nothing either)

"Start Campaign" does not show on that window like it should. I have ticketed support and they said that they were aware of similar reports about this issue but that was many months ago.
