Zariel in Astral Lockbox

Greetings Adventurers,
With the August 9 Rothé Valley Update, we made some adjustments to the Astral Lockbox in preparation for the next run, and for the Rothé Valley Battle Pass. One of the changes included updates to the companions available, with Zariel being an accidental addition.
During internal discussions while updating the Astral Lockbox, Zariel was mentioned as a potential option and internally added in. Upon further review, we opted to remove Zariel from the Astral Lockbox. Unfortunately, due to how build management works on live games, this checkin did not make it to live servers and Zariel released within the Astral Lockbox. As a result, players can currently obtain Zariel from the Astral Lockboxes still accessible on live servers. Since players have already obtained Zariel on live servers, we have opted to leave Zariel in at this time, including its future run in the Wondrous Bazaar.
We understand this decision may cause some concern among those who originally obtained Zariel during The Redeemed Citadel event. As a gesture of appreciation, we will be doing a special makegood for those players. More details will be available soon.
We are sorry for the frustration this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
