Since my question on the REDDIT AMA was COMPLETEY IGNORED (yes I'm spicy about it.) I will ask again here. What is going on with crafting? Like
@Cryptic_Tails stated in response to the a question about workshop issues being fixed that it's a complex system so it'll take time to fix. This makes me even more spicy considering how rushed out the Mastercraft changes were during October that got rid of Mastercraft I, II and III. This will probably not get a response (you guys tend to ignore me when it comes to this subject) but
@noworries#8859 @nitocris83 @crypticpop#7861 @crypticarkayne I think your player base would love to hear at least something when it comes to this topic.
Mastercraft VI and VII were originally supposed to come out in JUNE with the release of third area of Sharandar. And that didn't happen because the quests to earn it had glitches from the Undermountain Mastercrafting that got tossed out when I'm thinking the focus got originally switched to MTG for Cryptic (we saw how that worked out). So you delayed it under Mod 21 which you then proceeded to do what I claimed above mainly because you couldn't fix the bugs with the quests to earn the recipes (I read all the notes in the forum) so you switched to buying the recipes with AD (four months later with complete radio silence the entire time) so that you didn't have to worry about that anymore. But somehow it still doesn't work. Those changed were made and forced upon us TWO MONTHS ago. And you have this hamster exchange program (it's really bad) in the Stronghold for stuff we can't even use yet because the recipes aren't out yet. They're about to be totally obsolete with Mod 22 and the new item levels. This is the main thing I would love to hear about.
With
@Cryptic_tails answer I know that getting the 1-20 items fixed is going to take forever. The level squish caused a lot of headaches. We now have two Level 18 crafting materials (Oak level and Pine level) which the Oak level stuff doesn't even make sense anymore since we don't need them for earning Mastercraft I anymore. The problem is a lot of that stuff is required for higher level stuff (still never sure why you had Oak for Aurouch leather and not Pine) honestly one of my recommendations is just start over from scratch on the recipes themselves. The Workshop system you have is great. I really enjoyed when you switched to this from the old system. The recipes themselves suck for the most part and some of the levels required to get items is ridiculous (Rank 6 I think it is for Iron during Adventuring when it's a rank 4 material for Blacksmithing is my main example) Because while you added the Bard weapons they still don't have armor they can use at lower levels. Also with the new enchantment system the Reinforcement kits need to be completely reworked since they're becoming even more necessary. I know this will take more time.
Lastly, I think I speak for the entire player base that the main thing we would like is acknowledgement. We know it's been a rough couple of years for everyone. And we're willing to give leeway for you to make things in a good healthy manner. But we just need to know that our concerns are being heard. That's all. I would have rathered that Sharandar Mastercraft and/or some equivalent had taken longer if you had just told us there was issues. And if Sharandar Mastercraft isn't going to come out anytime soon tell us that and turn off the exchange and allow us to do something actually helpful with our items. I still feel it should have been a voucher system like the original Professions switch was. You had the system in place. Just had to switch the items and which person it was attached to.
Sincerely,
A veteran PSN Player who loves this game.
