Maze Engine and Elemental Evil adventure quest rewards

While leveling up a new toon in M21, I noticed that the rewards from a few of the adventures a inferior compared to other questlines.

The new Leveling Adventures and some of the level 20 Adventures (Undermountain, Dwarven King and Aquisitions Incorporated) all have nice rewards that gives a new player a sense of progression. Before starting Elemental Evil, a new player should have a full set of 1125+ gear, a nice upgraded Great Protector artifact set, epic companion + mount, insignia, enchantments, runestones and tons of AD.

The Elemental Evil and Maze Engine adventures seems to have been forgotten when updating the rewards.

This is the reward from the final quest of the Maze Engine :

Completing the Maze Engine Adventure grants these rewards :

100.000 RAD and a green quality companion with sub-par stats.

Elemental Evil Adventure rewards :

4500 RAD and 225 Seals of the Fallen for completing all chapters.

This means there is nothing rewarded from these two adventures that will help new players reach the item level required for the next Adventure. Is this intended ?

    Companions can be upgraded.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

On the positive side, the Battlerager companion and the Baphomet artifact are still awarded for doing Maze Engine. The Companion was a reward for doing the first milestone of the campaign and I'm glad he is still available in game. For a level 60/17 player this is 'ok' (it wasn't great before, but the Orcus set was still a great damage artifact set until about a year ago).

That being said, by moving Maze Engine after Underdark/The Dwarven King, the storyline makes more sense. It appears that in the rush to meet release deadlines there was little consideration to 'upgrading' the stats of rewards to be more in context with the 'new' character progression. I would suggest *ADDING* items to the reward list rather than removing what is currently there. Perhaps an enchantment that gives Deflect Severity and Awareness rank 10 would be nice or a runestone that provides Deflect Severity as this stat still has few sources in game.

There is a similar issue with the 'free' companion equipment that is now provided. It includes dual runestone slots, but the IL and stats are about half what was issued to green equipment with no runestone slots.

It would make sense to award a new player the green companion before the epic one then ?

Also, why would anyone upgrade this novelty companion ?

Im all for keeping the old rewards, my point is that these two adventures have rewards that are not in line with the other adventures. 4500 RAD and a few transmutes awarded for completing the (by far) most time consuming adventure vs 100.000 RAD awared for the shortest just feels weird. Adding rewards that keeps the "flow" in progression would fix the issue.

Some people may like to play with things that are "novelty". Not everything is about meta.

The point is that the quality of the rewards is lackluster compared to the other adventures. The fact that it is a novelty companion aimed at a very limited crowd does not help.

As far as the RAD I did find that odd when leveling you get 100,000 for chasm and whispering caverns... and then seeing what the level 20 adventures were getting. For some of us with a lot of alts that have gone through some of those it would be a lot of RAD.
