Sorry if this isn't the place to discuss this, this question is not about content currently on Preview but about the stream you did this Monday about the future changes. I couldn't find a subforum that matched any better.
Chris Whiteside said at one point (at around 36 minutes) that you were refactoring the game, and that you call it Project Ascension internally. He was talking about the possibility for visual changes and making the game easier to maintain, so that there can be more new content and less bug fixing in the future.
My second biggest annoyance in the game - if not the first, sometimes - is bugs in powers. I don't know how it is in other classes, but there are ridiculous numbers of bugs in Wizard Arcanist powers, including ones that influence all encounter powers, and ones that make certain powers almost always useless. Will this refactoring project include completely re-writing the code for all encounter, at-will and daily powers? And, possibly, feats and class features too? This would probably eliminate most of the bugs that are there and would be GREAT news!
If not, I will have to ask when you are putting a team on bug-fixing powers - because I've been told you're not planning to fix them for over a year now.
In this case I would also like to know how to best report and describe the bugs for you. I get that I should use the bug report forum, but do I make 1 thread per power, 1 per bug, 1 per class? Am I even allowed to make a lot of threads in a row? I have collected videos of some of the bugs in action using the xbox game bar's 'record last 30 seconds' feature (NVidia software also has something for this for anybody reading, but win+g or win+alt+g is built into Windows). Would it help if I shared those? I haven't sorted them out yet and I don't know how to clip them into shorter clips. If those videos would be useful, in what format (video per bug or power / collection of everything together video / separate videos for every clip / separate gifs) could I best share them with you? Do you have any tips on how to clip them in length, usually only the last 2-10 seconds are relevant.
