HUD greatly affecting FPS

Hiho,

So It's worried me for a while now, Few mods ago, i could play this game easily, at 100+ fps, wherever i was. IT gradualy went down over time, i didn't change my specs at all.

Recently, i noticed, that whenever i disable hud (pressing B, or simply Esc) my FPS would double, or even tripple,

I've been wondering, maybe there is some small optimisation issue that could be fixed?

It would greatly improve gameplay.

Noticed, that simply disabling Minimap HUD already improves fps a bit

Issue was escalated when first reported. We are not always able to reply to every thread that we escalate but it doesn't mean we aren't looking into reports.

Hi i have had this problem for a long time on my old and new laptop. Hud is too "heavy". Not even playing on hight settings -low/medium. It also happening on my partner gaming PC with top tier parts. I have MSI gaming laptop with i7 gen 10 and 1660ti graphics card. Other games work amazingly with no issues on hight settings. Hope you can do something about because like catson said game could improve gameplay so much. Thank you

Issue is still being investigated but we have no additional updates at this time.

On less powerful machines (such as my crappy ROG laptop), I noticed improvements by turning off the quest tracker (which appears by default at the right hand side of the screen). It's inconvenient to do so while you solo but it can help in dungeons where quests displayed there are (nearly) irrelevant.

I might add that each time you open a windows your ping skyrocketing whit spikes up to 400 ping...there is a serious issues whit game UI/HUD and in zones like Protector/Redeemed Citadel/Portal/Port is even worst that is adviced to avoid those zones..

It's been like that for many years (forever?) unfortunately. The whole UI is badly optimized. If you have many messages in your mailbox, you will see even a bigger fps drop. Pretty sure nothing can be done here unless the whole game is ported to another game engine.

it was much better before certain mod.

cuz i remember huge drop in fps after one, withoiut changing any of my hardware.
