Astral Diamond Exchange?

Bare with me if this seems stupid or out of place. I am new to Neverwinter so still learning the ropes. Been having fun and really enjoying the game. I just reached level 50. All this time I haven't accessed the AD exchange until now. I attempted to turn some Zen into AD. I entered the values but the A button would never light up for me to post the offer? Do I have to be of a higher level to use the AD exchange? Just seems odd that I would not have access to this feature much sooner than now or later. Any thoughts or comments welcome on this issue. I am on Xbox, I haven't gotten a response there. So thought I would try you PC folks and see if you all have any insight regarding my issue. Thanks in advance.

In PC, I choose 'Sell Zen' tab. Enter how much Zen to sell. Enter unit price to 750 (e.g.). Then, click 'Post'.
We don't have 'A' button. Hence, I don't know what 'A" is for.
I expect level 50 is enough to do AD exchange.

The A button on the Xbox is to post your offer. I select the sell Zen tab, enter the amount of zen and then enter the AD exchange amount, but I cannot post because the A button remains grayed out indicating that posting is not possible. I have continued to try and figure this issue out online and I have found references to account probation for some people who purchase Zen for the first time and that the probation is for up to 7 days. Guess it is suppose to stop gold spammers or something. Like I said in a previous post, I put in a ticket about the issue. Otherwise, I will just have to wait a few more days and see if circumstances change. But at the rate I am leveling, I might well be level 80 before the probation ends. Crazy.

In my opinion, it is a waste to spend Zen/AD for a level 50 character. The funding is better served in higher level because whatever you buy now, you probably will dump it soon.

I can see the reasoning there. But it is still odd to lock a person out of a game feature that involves real money. But having said that, I can sort of understand it too with regards to gold spammers. I would just feel better if I had the access and the choice. I am not particularly upset by this. Will see how it goes with the ticket and if the probation is lifted in a few days. But like you said, not that big an issue to wait till 80 before using the exchange.

Most likely there are leveling quests/zones you have not completed that you need to in order to unlock stuff.

That was just my opinion as a player in a player's perspective. For Cryptic, I bet they want you to spend money asap (and make sure they can keep it).

How did you get that Zen?

If you bought Zen through Steam there is a 7 days or so quarantine before that Zen can be used without limitations. This is to prevent abuse by stolen credit cards etc.

During that quarantine time I think you cannot sell Zen on ZAX and any items you buy in Zen store will be temporarily BtA.

I bought the Zen through the Microsoft Xbox store. I did get a notice at purchase that any items bought would be bound to account for 7 days. It didn't say anything about access restrictions to the AD Exchange. Now that I typed that. I can assume that the Zen is locked for 7 days, once that is up I can use the AD exchange. I think at the time I just read it as the items bought would of been bound for 7 days. I see now it probably also meant the Zen itself. Things are making a bit more sense now.
